The guys in Kansas City are fantastic. They helped out at the last minute, stayed in touch and delivered a pod on time. Absolutely the best. Drivers courteous and helpful.

They manipulate the scheduling in an attempt to charge for more days. They fabricate a 'busy schedule' so they don't have time to pick up the empty tub that's parked in your drive. Bummer.

Everyone has their own experience I guess, but since there are three 1-star reviews on here I think it's important I share my own. I have nothing but positive things to say about this service. I completed the quote process online, and ultimately ended up calling to book because I still had some questions for Pack Rat. The customer service guy helped me out and got my order booked. The units came right as I had scheduled them. The website was super easy to use as far as scheduling drop off, pick up, then drop off and pick up at the new address. The delivery guys knew what they were doing and were nice and professional. My stuff came back to me just as I had packed it. No damage. No water. No bugs. It was all good. Pricing came in at exactly what I was told. About $400-$450 all in for a 16' unit. I got two of them, and stored for about a week or two (they don't prorate, you just pay for the whole month I guess). Anyway - when you need storage along with the move, this is definitely the most convenient method. I could have saved a few hundred bucks (maybe) renting a storage unit, getting a uhaul, etc. But then you're moving everything twice - what a pain, not worth it. This is a great option. Also - I hired just a crew of movers to come unpack my packrats, that was a smart move as well. No issues - great service. Highly recommend.

I would leave zero stars if possible. Horrible customer service. We called and scheduled a container delivered because we sustained flood damage. They were supposed to call when someone was on their way. We received a call from one of our contractors that the Pack Rat delivery was in our driveway. The delivery driver caused damage to our yard and left the container sideways in our driveway ultimately leaving us with no parking space in our driveway. Not only the wrong place in the driveway but did not leave us enough room to load large items into the container. We called 4+ times to get them to move the container and they didn't call back. Finally after the 5th or 6th call they called back and wouldn't speak with me because the account had been started in my wife's name. Horrible, horrible customer service.

Horrible experience with this company. I was given an online quote with a monthly price to store at one of the companies locations. When I looked at the itemized receipt it showed multiple other charges including a warehouse fee, and 3-4 other fees/taxes. I called and spoke with a representative that told me that my quote was (x) amount and that included all the taxes, fees, and warehouse charge. At that time I submitted the order. Once the order was submitted and I logged back into my account the monthly fee was over $50 a month more. I again had to call and wait on hold for 5-10 minutes to talk to another representative. I was told that the reason for the price difference was because the first number was "only a quote". What a joke, I don't recommend using this company. There are many other options that are honest with their prices and honor their customers.
