The egg roles are clearly well made but I got delivery which took 3 minutes from restaurant to door and they were barely luke warm sadly. The Saigon salad was big - enough for 3-4 people - but literally had 6 peanut halves in it and the equivalent of 1/3 carrot - the rest was lettuce and cabbage. And the $4.50 bag of shrimp crackers had 6 crackers in it which frankly is outrageous - 75c per cracker. I’ve been to restaurants where you get a large bag of 20+ crackers for less than that. It’s clear the chef can cook well, and the ingredients are fresh but sending out egg rolls which has been sitting around long enough to be barely warm, using filler ingredients and hardly any of the flavorful ingredients and massively overcharging for shrimp crackers means I won’t be buying from there again.
Egg roll is really tasty! Will be perfect if using a mug for serving hot water.Food: 5/5
This was my first experience with pho actually and the broth was really good. I didn't care for the ingredients in the broth, I thought they were a bit bland, perhaps that's how they are supposed to be, I don't know.
Located right in downtown long beach. There is a parking structure right next to the restaurant. In here, you place your order prior to being served. Pho: For the pho, there are 3 steps to order: choosing your noodle type thin or wide, your 3 proteins choice extra for more $, and lastly your broth type. There have simple appetizers as well as bahn mi sandwiches to rice plates and salads. So all in all, the option to customize your pho soup is pleasant to those who prefer it. It's nice in my opinion. Taste: tastes like pho! Very simple condiments such as hot saucesiracha and hoisin sauce. Perhaps they may have other condiments but per request, I didn't bother to ask. Very simple pho soup and straight to the point eating. Atmosphere: nice and elegant wood top tables and concrete flooring with standard and high tables all inside the dining and also limited outdoor seatings too. If you're in the area of long beach, worth to try and let Google know if this place hits it for you.
It's the only restaurant I have ever been to where the appetizers are always being served *after* the main meal. Sometimes the appetizers come right before you are finishing your food. Or served when your food is cold. The main meals weren't even served the same time either the second time we went. My pho came fast, but the other person's main meal came after I finished that huge bowl. My food was cold by the time he got his food. THEN the appetizers came?. We went there for a third time today and only one of our appetizers showed up. Not sure if they forgot it or just were super slow to serve it again before we finished. I have been a waitress for many years and I find it strange to serve the meals so randomly. The food is fine though.
This pho is not as good as others I have been in the area. This is more to have a meeting and not eat. The menu is not easy to read and as I came I ask for a mix pho but they didn’t have such thing. Soup doesn’t taste as the others. If you want to talk and just leave half of the soup just come here. Vegetarian options: Not sure. Only soup. Parking: Parking garage near the place. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly Wheelchair accessibility: The doors are wide open so anyone can enter
First time going to 123pho. Portions were massive. I’m a large guy and had trouble finishing it in a reasonable time. However I asked for double meat and still the meat about was on the small side. Will probably ask for triple beef next time. Food quality itself was mid, nothing special, nothing to jump out of your seat out. Good to just have a chill meal. Probably would come again.
Finally I got Vietnamese foods here, the bowl is big than my face, good for stomach
I had the "Shakin Beef" with garlic noodles and egg as a topping. Meat was perfectly cooked and still medium rare inside. the noodles were a bit to soft, so 4 Stars. I would order the dish again.
Delicious Pho. Rich broth, perfect ingredients. Polite and friendly staff. After ordering, not even 3 minutes passed before everything was on my table. The restaurant has a pleasant interior. 5 stars.Food: 5/5
