We visited on a Friday night. Busy! We lucked out and snagged a table. We waited maybe 10 minutes, but any later and it would've been a 45 minute wait. Either make a reservation, or try to beat the dinner rush. They offered a good IPA from Bent Water, local. We ordered a Japanese pancake to start. Honestly I could've been satisfied with this for my whole meal - it's that good. I ordered the veggie ramen, mildly spiced. It was spiced for flavor, any more and it would've been too much heat for me. The hostess and server were incredibly friendly and had a great sense of urgency. We'll be back for more apps.
Rustic bar with an old touch. I tried the grilled chicken ramen mildy spiced and loved every bite! The presentation was remarkable and the waitress as charming as her beautiful eyes. The purple rain cocktail was delicious! All in all marvelous! Definitely recommend for casual night out with friends.
This place can get busy, the waiter seated us promptly and was cortious. The ramen was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. They offer three different types of spice levels. The soju is delicious, however there other drinks are very strong. The place in its self is on the smaller side and is extremely loud with people having fun. The customer service was great.
One of the best ramen places in Lowell. Spice level 3 is great. Apt quantity. Taste is good but the broth isn't rich ans thick as some good Ramen places.
Went here for dinner with a friend. We shared the Tuna Tartare, Duck Baos, Spicy Cumcumbers and Tonkatsu Ramen. All of the food missed the mark, feeling uninspired and unauthentic. The tartare was non-traditional served in a bowl, and cucumbers were served as large chunks in a watery sauce. The noodles were prepared poorly, with a consistency worse than instant noodles at home. The atmosphere was too loud both inside and out. We would've been fine indoors, but the music was too loud, so ended up sitting outside. Service was undesirable, with our server being both unattentative and forgetful. I rarely encounter a restaurant I won't return to, but unfortunately this was one of them.
My husband and I found this place online and are extremely pleased with it. Now it’s our regular Ramen spot. Great experience, great service and amazing food. What makes it even better is that the prices are very reasonable. There is also a great Sake and Japanese whisky selection.
For a Ramen bar it’s interesting that the ramen is the worst thing about this place. The waitstaff is pretty nice. Drinks are expensive but strong. Duck bao was pretty decent. Ramen itself had no flavor in the broth. The broth should be the star of the show. All I tasted was the spice. General watery taste in the soup. Noodles were average. I may be back to give this place another try, since I live pretty close. It was a disappointing first visit.
Fried shumai, sweet and spicy wings, and smoked chicken ramen were phenomenal
Very nice place. Upscale drink menu. Lite cuisine, and a relatively small menu. A handful of Japanese/Korean dishes. Ramen is the main course. The food menu is small, and a little pricey for the area, but they do offer something different and it is very high quality. The pork bellies in the ramen are excellent.
We had to wait for 15mins even though takes were being cleared out, which is fine. Our food though took so long to be served. Tables that were sat much after, had their food served before us. We ordered ramen and couldn't finish either bowl. I ordered medium spicy, but it was just doused in chili oil. I couldn't even finish half.Food: 2/5
