I used to work at a place like this back in California so I was really excited to try the food. The atmosphere was great, perfect lighting and not loud, probably because it wasn’t very busy. 

I ordered the seafood pasta and was one of “those customers” by asking to substitute the angel hair pasta for fettuccine but seemed to be missing my spinach. I informed the server and she told me that no, that’s how the dish is made. I told her I thought that the menu said it included spinach and she said she would bring one to me. Shortly after, a gentleman who I could only assume was the manager or owner came by with a menu to apologize as they had recently changed the dish to include spinach and the sauté cook forgot to add it. I expressed multiple times that it wasn’t a problem and I understood, and my spinach followed a minute later. As I said, I’ve worked in a place similar so I can be very understanding. I was just a little bothered by the way the server replied. I’m sure it was a one off though.

Other than that, everything was wonderful and I’ll be sure to come back.

We decided to check this place out to celebrate Valentines Day. We were celebrating the day late this year and came in on a Friday night. We arrived just 5 minutes before their kitchen closed. Rather than turning us away, they happily found us a table, provided menus and suggestions, and took our order. The food was delicious! Wine selection was great, and the staff were friendly and attentive to our needs.

I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice meal.

We ordered the shrimp appetizer, the salmon and the chicken pot pie. The drinks were great. There might be something there they're really good at but we didn't get it.

This is the best restaurant in St. Joseph.  Although it doesn't have the views of some of the others, the owner/manager always does extra things to enhance his customer's experience. The food is varied and good and the service is terrific.  It has a good vibe.

Everything was good from start to finish. The service, atmosphere, appetizers (oysters Rockefeller delicious) poblano potato soup was exceptional, I have paid twice as much for scallops of this quality, and all the food in general. The manager (owner?) Was extremely friendly and checked in on us. Wonderful place. Server was Jessica she was great.
