Story

Welcome to our Ocean club in San Francisco, CA. At our health and fitness center, we believe in changing lives through fitness. Our state-of-the-art facility has just about every feature you could wish for in a gym membership. Our club offers a wide range of group exercise classes, personal training and a wealth of other benefits and features. Whether you plan to lose weight, tone-up, or train for a big event, our club offers a wide variety of gym memberships which you can buy online or in-club.

I go for the location convenience and the classes, which are good. Many of the teachers are excellent. 

The place however, is run down and worn. Most class hand weights are all gone. The bar weights are worn and rusty. Bars bent, Mats worn. There doesn’t seem much interest in replacing items.  Place smells, so glad they leave the entry doors open. Place is not clean. 

I joined a barre class elsewhere. But go to the 24classes I like. 

The market st gym is cleaner.

This place has so much potential. Too bad the people they hired are lazy and never keep the place in shape. I said lazy because many times they never do anything while paper towel dispensers need replacing, and when you ask for help, you feel like you're asking them an SAT question because they dawdle for so long. Paper towel is always out, trash strewn around, locker room and shower is always dirty, multiple broken showers and lockers in the men's room. I blame both the staff and the clientele who leave things a mess after their visits. I only go here because it's close to my house and that it has towel service. That. Is. It. '___'

If you're a 24 hour fitness member you know what you're getting when you step into any of their locations. The paper towels are usually completely empty and the locker rooms are filthy. This gym is no different. They do have towel service (which you have to pay separately for). As per usual, the free weights are strewn across the gym and you must wait ten minutes for the benchpress to open up. Positives: wifi works well.

Its extremely crowded during peak hours, but has all the equipments needed for all your body parts and different kinds of fitness training. Also management is quick in fixing broken equipments. Parking was not too bad untill target came and some of the parking spots are allocated only for target customers. Although the maximum wait time for me to get a spot is between 5-7 minutes during peak hours.

Pretty run of the mill run down gym. Bugs crawling all over the wall by the hot tub..  Parking is near impossible. If you like rowing machines just don't come. 24hr makes it's money here but clearly invests in facilities elsewhere.
