I had the Calabash Flounder... delicious, 2 piece darkside. The cocktail sauce was outstanding. The one drawback was the diminutive size of the slaw side. When asked for another one, the wait staff quickly provided an additional slaw.  Service was great and the facilities clean.  We also had the bourbon steak and shrimp and the BBQ Chicken flatbread. All of these were outstanding.

I tried 2520 a couple of years ago right when Covid started and we got takeout. I thought it was ok at the time. We went back last week to dine in for a friends birthday and all I can say is WOW. Everyone's food was fantastic. Each dish came out looking like the chef really puts care in to each detail. They have a great mix of Chicken, Beef, and Seafood dishes while also offering delicious soups and salads. I went back with my family this week and it was just as impressive. The prices for the food are more than fair and the service was excellent both times. Highly recommended.

Good atmosphere, friendly service, good wine and cocktail selection and the food was good. I got the Chicken Risotto and my date got the goat burger. We both enjoyed our meals but I would have enjoyed a little less cheese in the risotto dish. Personal preference of course so mileage may vary. This place is very odd! The menu seemed out of sorts. I had the dockside seafood plate and it was really delicious! Stay away from the potato cakes! I don’t plan on going back!

We had reservations and was seated upon our arrival. Our waitress was very good and made sure we never run out of drinks! Appetizer came out early enough before our meal. I ordered the Peppery Goat Burger. It was delicious but messy! Just be sure to take some hand wipes because the sweet pepper jelly is sticky but tasty. It comes with one side. For dessert, we got the Peaches and Cream! I suggest letting it sit for a few minutes to let the pound cake soak up all the peach juices and allow some of the ice cream melt on top! Our waitress also asked if we would like any coffee after our meal. I will definitely return to 2520 Tavern again!

The staff were great and friendly plus the food I has was really. We had the calamari and a burger and the chocolate triad I want to say the dessert was called but overall no complaints with this restaurant

Food is good. But we got the Alfredo pasta and substituted shrimp for the chicken - a $3 up-charge.  They gave us 4 shrimp. What a rip-off.

Wonderful atmosphere, food, and service. I was with a party of 7 and everyone loved their food. Not pretentious just good food. Come in wearing jeans, come with your company team for dinner, it all fits.

My first thought when looking at the menu was hmm? Bizarre. One of the oddest menus I have ever seen. Really minimal choices & odd choices at that. The fried seafood is good. The potato pancakes have zero flavor, other than like a rancid oily taste. The crab bisque is tasty. The rice dish, I can’t remember the full name of it, but starts with Domo something. The rice was wet & mushy, the steak was rubbery & the overall dish left me confused. It felt like a boxed rice dish one would make at home & tossed in their leftovers. Very strange experience.

Absolutely delicious food and great service. The oyster stew, stuffed flounder, salads, sweet tea, burgers, and tavern chicken are all awesome. I highly recommend this restaurant.  ** just returned for takeout I asked for gallon of sweet tea. She handed me a small styrofoam cup filled with more ice than tea. That silly little cup cost me $3. Really???  Poor service and communication
