Have been to many Ma an Pa truck stops, the 49ER is certainly 1 of our favorites. Keep on Keeping On

I had the pleasure of shutting down my tractor trailer here last night, and won't be leaving until sometime tomorrow.  I was grateful for a clean shower, (FREE to truckers!) and all the gals that I met here, were all very polite.  It is a busy little Mom and Pop place, down home, unpretentious good folks.  I ordered breakfast which was a tenderloin, two eggs over easy, and a biscuit with sausage, approx $6.50.  Dinner was the grilled chicken, with two sides, and cornbread, $6.99.  A little pricey, I thought, yet the food was good, and hit the spot.  Thank you to the nice gals who made my stay a pleasant one:  Angie, Jeannie, and the pretty waitress, Melinda.  I won't mind stopping by this way again.

It's amazing how fast a good review can go to a bad review. I had previously given this stop a four-star review, had stopped in there the other day and got two breakfast to go and the folk for friendly and the food was good. We stopped in again this morning, earlier today than what we did yesterday, so we weren't even sure whether the restaurant would even be open. When we got there first thing we asked, whether the restaurant was open yet or not and the girl behind the counter did not say a word, did not greet us, did not say good morning or anything. She just gave us a mean look and" slowly" nodded her head yes. I don't get that... I mean it's not like we just threatened her family or something, just asked if the restaurant was open. She made us very uncomfortable so we decided to place our order with someone else. The whole time we sat there waiting for our to go orders we kept receiving strange and dirty looks. These people are different ones then the ones who waited on us yesterday. The ones who waited on us yesterday were extremly friendly and polite as all get-out. Unfortunately, seeing as how we don't know their work schedules, we can't choose the times to come in when the nice folks are working. I personally will not be subjected to that level of hostility that was shown to us this morning. We will not be back

Wow... what hidden litte gem this is, the staff are friendly and courteous, the food was fabulous, and the price far better than any fast food truck stop could ever be, restaurants and grocery part or only in one building... you are allowed to smoke inside and it doesn't smell like stale cigarettes.
Very heavy traffic of four wheelers and a little abundance of truck drivers... this truck driver will definitely be back

Lady's Working The Lot Are Well Worth The Money The Two I Had could handel there selfs very well best 150$  i spent in along time . Keep up the good work ladys ..
