We're a tiki-themed restaurant and bar that's been serving up the good times in Myrtle Beach for over five years.

Story

A few years ago, three friends had a dream of opening a place with amazing food and specialty drinks. Well, in 2014, they made that dream come true when they opened 8th Ave Tiki Bar & Grill. Located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, our restaurant's perfect for taking in oceanfront views, enjoying a refreshing craft beer, and munching on delicious Mediterranean dishes. Locals and visitors alike are drawn to our fun and vibrant beach atmosphere, whether they're joining us for a family dinner or a taste (or two) of our 32-drink cocktail menu. Whatever the reason, you'll be sure to experience "Good Music, Good vibes, Good Food, Good Times!"

Well I'm going to start by stating that the food was pretty decent. The service was ok. Now let's talk about the wait, so we had 6 people in our party. It took the normal amount of time for the first 3 dishes to come out. 15 minutes later 1 more came out. 20 minutes later 1 came out. Now if u have been to kindergarten u would know that, that is 5 we then waited 30 minutes for my food and nothing came out. At that point we needed to talk to a manager. So we talked to him. He didn't even look like a manager. So we talked to him and he said it would be right out. 20 minutes later it finally came after every one else had already eaten. So I'm sitting there with 5 people watching me eat my 6 BBQ WINGS!!!! Then they said they would give us a discount. The discount was 8 dollars. This place sucked don't plan on returning

Bartender is good. I've been waiting 45 minutes and counting for food service that I'm not sure is worth it anymore. We only came here because our 2 hour destination (Broadway at the Beach) was not dog friendly. If you need good service avoid this place. Couldn't tell you about the food because she never returned, 1hour since dropping off menus.FTP.

Food was good. Atmosphere was great. The inside was extremely clean and very nice looking. But the waitress was rude. She would walk by several times, wouldnt say anything about the food, and we went half our meal without drinks. To the point, my husband had his drink pushed all the edge of the table to let her know we needed more. Never made an attempt to get us more drinks. And even picked up the empty drink and sat it back down at one point. Very rude, and its in the middle of prime season.

The food was quite tasty, with a lot of fried foods but a few healthier choices. The drinks are delicious as well all though they are well overpriced. There was plenty of space so we had elbow room. Waitress was good, not great but very nice when she was at the table. Okay for kids.

You have to try this place! The drinks... the food... the general atmosphere is Just perfect for the beach. We stopped by for a drink and left 4 hours later!!!
