-horrible food-

When I sat down in the table, I place my order, Cajun Shrimp. I was brought a complimentary bowl of popcorn, it was stale. Within a few minutes my food was brought out, which was surprising as I had only placed the order 10 minutes prior. I took the first bite and tasted cold shrimp, followed by a crunch of hard rice. The shrimp tasted as though it had been sitting a while and not just cooked. The rice was very undercooked, as was the corn. The peppers looked wilted and were almost a slimy texture. When presented to the manager I was offered dessert. I didn’t come for dessert, I came for dinner. Although I wasn’t charged for my meal, I don’t feel as though management even cared. I will never visit this location again, and possibly won’t dine in any 99 Restaurant again. Absolutely awful experience.

We sat down & was graciously greeted by our server jean who was the most knowledgeable, friendly, who has gone above & beyond and is a top well trained employee.  She was excellent from the get go.  This has been THE most pleasurable experience here at this location.  We would ask for her any time we come.  She is phenomenal.   I hope that 99 in Bristol acknowledges her excellence as a front employee that represents 99 100%.  Well done jean!!!!

Love the 99. Good food at a good price. They have happy hour 8 to close we love to take advantage off, and a great trivia night on Thursdays.

If you want some corn on the cob and ginger seems adventurous you might be excited by the 99.  But seriously, there are some good things about the 99.  It's reasonably priced, closer to the $10 than $15 entree (8/2017).  Kids eat free the day after the Red Sox win (one per adult entree).  They give you free popcorn to start.  The place is clean.  The food is predictable.  It's exactly the peace of mind some people are looking for.

This is the 3rd consecutive visit of Horrible Service but good food. It's probably this location because in all fairness, I have had good service at other 99 restaurants. The staff is inattentive, sometimes inappropriate and just beneath my standard of what I expect.
