Super delicious thin crust pizza. Small menu but everything we had was great! Good wine options and a cute small space. Was an awesome impromptu date night. Do the mushrooms with pepperoni. It's delicious!
Heard about this place from a friend and was blown away from the experience. The shared plates were really spectacular - we had the baked feta, oysters, and Caesar salad. All 3 we're great but the salad was honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten. The Old Faithful pizza was great too, crispy crust and great flavors. All that topped with great service and ambiance, I'll definitely be back!
Absolutely delicious, authentic and unpretentious joint. The pizza is really well cooked with complex tastes. The salad was definitely the best Caesar salad I've ever had. The pudding was better than cake, chocolate and ice cream combined - not too sweet and almost velvety. Great service and friendly staff. Lighting in the restaurant feels a little dim but the ambiance is great.
Had dinner with 4 people there last night and it was a lovely evening. We shared the barrel-aged feta - it was a generous portion to share among 4 and so delicious. We then shared 3 pizzas - the She Wolf, the Old Faithful and the Champion. All 3 were great and bigger than we expected. Great ingredients and flavor. The crust was amazing which I think is the most important part of pizza. Finally we shared 2 olive oil cakes - which were the perfect end of the meal - the sour cherries were delectable. Can’t wait to go back.
Very nice place to go for a bite to eat. Its got a cozy feel to it and some great service. Before I go on, just know the Tiramisu is DELICIOUS!!! Seriously the best we've had in the states. Textures, flavors, and the kicker is the salt on top. YES! Outside of that, we had the Feta, the mushroom pizza and both was good. We will be back for sure!
Reminding me of some of the legacy North Beach restaurants in San Francisco at the height of the SF Italian cuisine era, 60's-80's, Rose pizzeria turns out some fine old school style pizza, with a nice flat crust, barely burned around the edges, something that East Coast folks who love pizza will surely appreciate. The wine list is simple, but good for that. With my pepperoni pizza I chose the Veneto, And really when you're eating Italian food of this quality, you don't need a huge wine list. I opened my experience with six oysters on the half shell, very fresh, with two different sauces, one Calabrese, and the other a vinaigrette, and ended my meal with their delicious olive oil cake with strawberry sauce. This place has only been here a year, and even long-term people in the neighborhood might pass it by without noticing it, which would be a mistake. Really quality ingredients, great cooks, and a beautiful backyard patio surrounded by roses in full bloom made this a special occasion for me. Excellent food, and excellent people. I only say this when I have spoken with the owners and cooks, which I have. Great additions to the neighborhood
A great addition to the neighborhood, with just enough space inside and out, although i would recommend booking on the patio. Service friendly and the food hit the spot, though i think this place is maybe a little more about the wine than the food. No complaints on anything. Unfussy food, delivering as expected.
We’re in love. We will be back here asap. This is the pizza experience I never knew I needed. Wine pairings on top of incredible ingredients and super fun folks all around? 10/10 all the way.
One of my friends had recommended this place and I really wanted to try it out. Though they didn't sit in their back patio, the space seemed nice. Our Pizza wasn't too long and it was definitely worth the wait -- really good thin crust pizza. Unfortunately out server at the time wasn't that great. They didn't seem that enthusiastic to serve us and overall wasn't that pleasant to interact with. I wasn't sure if we had come in a busy time or if they are under staffed but it left a sour impression.
Great flavor. Cute atmosphere. Pizza came out fairly quickly so no long wait at all. Would definitely go back here
