Thought I was getting a deal on a pair of water shoes marked 50% off but actually paid retail of every other store.  I know a small business needs to make a profit, but come on guys, a100% mark up?!! Do your homework before shopping there...

My wife and I both buy our running/walking shoes from 9th Street. We were satisfied with our initial fittings and continue to reorder as needed. I like that they carry only the shoes that will have similar models from year to year, so I'm not constantly having to try something new. Never had a problem with customer service, and was able to return a pair I'd tried out on a treadmill at the gym (no outdoor wear) the one time I did venture out into new shoe territory. I'm sticking with my old faithful model, and 9th Street's where I choose to buy

I attempted to call the store and share my concerns before writing this review. Sadly, after six phone calls and no contact with a manager, I am left writing it here. I visited Ninth Street Active Feet looking for new running shoes. The male associate (don't think it's appropriate to post his name here, but he is on their website) was arrogant and unhelpful all the way through. "Fitted" me for shoes in which my feet slipped and slid; they were at least two sizes too big, but he insisted I should be wearing gigantic boats on my feet and was an arrogant jerk about it.

In short, his "fitting" was all about "what he thought he knew" versus "how do YOU feel, customer? Tell me about what YOU would like." The arrogance was startling. NEVER should a sales associate continually talk over a customer, or persist with trying to sell something a customer clearly does not want "because he thinks it's the right product." 

Summary: Ninth Street Active Feet has too much competition to be so arrogant and unfriendly. I will never step in there again.
