Staff could use better communication skills with each other. I was quoted one price for braces and was told something totally different at my daughters appointment. Other than that, I loved Podray because he was straight forward with everything and didn't sugarcoat my daughters treatment.

It is the worst dental place I have ever been..the way the place is ran it is bad..the staff that work there ..are very rude and need better people skills.. even the office manger is no better.. I can't wait until the last day that my teenage get there braces off..so I don't have to go back there..and the wait times are pass the appointment times..

I am giving this 2 stars only because of Dr. Padre.  He has been the only one that has been very understanding with my daughters and I. We moved from out of state and because I cant afford to keep their braces going and the insurance wont pay for them,  the office was going to do an appeal to get them off.  The front desk and the new manager Phusia have pushed my button, they do not keep in contact at ALL!  I called once from the last time I spoke to them over a month ago to see the status, and left message never once got a call back.  Then I call today and ask for the manager and she states yes she is right here, well after she asks my name, all of a sudden she is in a meeting and will call me back later today.  I know that Phusia doesn't like me because one time we spoke she was very rude to me and I work in the medical field and I know all about HIPAA and she didn't like that I brought that to her attention.  If I don't receive a call back today, I will be contacting someone regarding the communication I receive and the way this office is ran.  I will also be contact Dr. Padre.  I will have to say I am very nice person, but this office has made me actually very mad.   One instance  was I had a neighbor bring in my daughters, called Phusia she said yes they can come in and I can fax over my ID and a letter with her name on it. I faxed it that morning maybe 10 at the latest, well my friend took kids around 4 pm I believe, I am getting a call from my 11 year old daughter stating that they wont see them. I tell her to put my friend on, my friend said they are being very rude and I told her I faxed a paper this morning after talking to manager, she told them, and low and behold right next to them in the fax machine was the paperwork. So you telling me they don't check it all day?

Well now that I have gotten how I feel about this place, I have just received a call from Phusia, she states, we have received their pre-auth to remove braces and you are scheduled on April 11. I said that's the soonest, well doctor is out for 2 weeks and that is the day he is returning. I really like the doctor, but after this is over, I will look elsewhere due to his staff.

Wait times are horrible. If I showed up 45minutes late they wouldnt see me, but they can be as delayed as they want! What is the point in scheduling a 10am appt to be seen at 11?

I have had a good experience with A-1 dental so far. I got my braces on the first appointment, and they were happy to answer all of my questions. All of the employees are nice, funny, and friendly. I highly recomend this place for you if you need braces.
