I just love this store.  My daughter loves to go into A Book Above and pick out a book.  When I have wanted something specific, they are always able to order it.  Also, I went there to get a gift for my 14 year old niece and they were able to give me some recommendations.  Come Christmas when she opened them she was so excited and the books were exactly what she wanted. A great addition to our community!

This is such a hidden gem in Elmhurst. Carolyn, the owner will make sure you get any book you need. She has helped us do bulk orders for our school and took so much time making sure orders were fulfilled. Her discounts allowed us to purchase more quantity. There are a variety of books for every interest and if not in the store, Carolyn has great suggestions which she will order. Please help keep this much-needed bookstore in town and shop local.

Excellent experience! I don't even live in the area, but Carolyn, (the owner) was able to find just the books I needed, and only the week before Christmas! She's wonderful, and so helpful. 

My son (7) got The Giving Tree. My daughter (10) got The Last Unicornb a book I got when I was 10, and I got them A Light in the Attic to share. 

I recorded my daughter reading a couple of silly poems from it, but I dont know how to post them.

It’s such a nice change stepping into this store. I don’t get overwhelmed like you do in big box stores plus the owner is helpful and I have ordered books from them for less than Amazon with the same delivery timeframe!
