Cake was really good. The lady makes everything by hand . I've heard some people have had good cakes and bad cakes. Since she makes it by scratch it might not always be consistent? My only complaint- I asked for raspberry filling and it seemed like half the cake had the appropriate and the other half nothing barely.. like she ran out and didn't want to make more? That was disappointing but the rest of the cake was delicious! The design was nice too

Have been getting birthday cakes from here for my toddler for past 2 years and have not been disappointed. Both the full sheet Thomas cake and half sheet Blaze cake were great tasting and beautifully done.

I recently had two pies made for my birthday party, one pumpkin and the other coconut cream pie. Both pies were absolutely amazing, taste and texture were overwhelming to your taste buds! The pumpkin pie had the perfect combination of spices with a flakey buttery crust. The coconut cream pie topped with lightly toasted coconut was creamy light and incredible! Thank you so much for your preparing my pies! I will definitely be back for more!

Perfect experience from start to finish. I got a cute going away cake for a co-worker and it was perfect. The handwriting on it was very neat and legible. We got a white cake with fresh raspberries and raspberry filling with a chocolate and vanilla buttercream frosting. I had to pick up the cake Sunday and we ate it Tuesday and it was still so light and moist! People kept asking if it was really a bakery cake...thats how moist it was. The frosting was also really light and airy and just wonderful. So good!!!!

Why are there only 5 stars. For this business alone, I would talk every friend and family member that has been served one of their cupcakes to give an honest to goodness review. You would surely come across a sea of 5 stars. Why am I so jazzed about A Cake While You Wait? Before we found them, my glutton free son had to accept the dry bricks found at the grocery store. While his friends sat next to him, enjoying their soft cake, his cupcake would fall apart in his hands. The staff at A Cake While You Wait has always been very sympathetic. Don’t get me wrong, they may only have a plate full of GF cupcakes, but they have variety! I’m talking moist cake and thick frosting. For my son’s birthday, we called ahead for 2 dozen GF cupcakes. Everyone loved them and were surprised to find out that the were GF after the fact. Tradition dictates that we stop by A Cake While You Wait before every birthday party. On one particular instance, my son asked if they had GF banana cupcakes. Really? Of course they didn’t. But they wanted to make it right in both my son’s and daughter’s eye. We left the store with 2 whole bananas, strawberries, and I think blueberries. They didn’t ask for a cent. It’s just the way they are. (Though they would go out of business if they did that often.) On top of all that, I over ordered 3 dozen cupcakes for my wife’s birthday party. But without a doubt, I knew the extras would be snatched up and spread across the Denver-Metro area. Please, look at their site. If they have anything close to what you are looking for, call them! — I have zero affiliation with A Cake While You Wait. I’m just extremely thankful for all they have done for us. My GF son, who is also autistic, gets to feel a little bit closer to normal as his celebratory cake is on par with everybody else’s. If not better!
