A terrible experience. I asked the owner Mark Clancy to do to things for me on his visit. One fix a leak and move a gas line that was servicing a gas insert from outside of the fireplace to service the gas insert from inside the fireplace. I still have a leak and I got talked out of moving the line into the fireplace because he did not what to go through the effort of putting a small enough hole into the decorative cast iron insert that was in the fireplace. Any experienced person would have easily been able to do the job with a hammer drill and give the customer what they wanted. His argument hat he can't put a hole in the decorative part of the insert because the fire would come out of the hole and the brick wall would be compromised is just an excuse and does not stand up. If he would have just taken the time to see that the gas insert which was just gas logs and a decorative back that was retrofitted for what was originally a wood burning fire place would have known that it would have been okay to put the line in the fireplace through the decorative part. Now after having paid him to "mickey mouse" and convince me of a solution telling me that any cover I get for the fire place will hide the pipe is not what I wanted. There is no cover that will hide a pipe sticking out of the front of a fireplace. As for the leak what can I say it is still leaking so I guess he was not good enough to asses the leak in the first place and once again I got a sloppy repair. Don't give this company your business unless you want a rushed job and poor quality and a band aid to your work request.

If ever a business's name summed up the quality of its service, then "A Good Plumber" is it! We had a relatively small job to install a slop sink that had some complicated PVC drain work as it had to connect to the main drain line in the house. We found A Good Plumber from an advertisement in the Kent County Reminder, and thought, how do we not call "A Good Plumber"? I got in touch with Mark Clancy, the Owner, and asked him to come by to estimate the job. I must say I was a little nervous that A Good Plumber did not have any reviews on Yelp, but figured what was the harm in an estimate? When he came by, I was very happy we called him. He was MUCH more reasonable with regard to pricing than we had received from the bigger, national-chain plumbers. Moreover, he carefully specified what parts we would need and explained how they would be used to integrate the new sink into our system. I was very impressed with his approach to the job and we decided to go with him. On top of that, we also asked him to install an ice-maker line for a new refrigerator! Again, he was careful in explaining what would be needed and more than reasonable on the price. On the day of the job Mark and his helper arrived at my house on time, were pleasant and went right to work. The PVC work was well done and connected and vented seamlessly to our system. The new water lines for the slop sink's faucet were mounted securely to the wall, and he even lifted up the sink of the base to put a bead of sillicone under it. The refrigerator line was also cut in and attached with a convenient shut-off. I am more than satisfied with the work and would happily recommend them to anyone. If you need one, definitely call A Good Plumber!
