Really good craft store, I like it better than Michaels. Its big so be prepared to hunt around. I wish they had more options for photo albums. Cheery staff and convenient location.

I brought in a very difficult item to frame. I went to the framing department for a consultation. Tobias helped me and was absolutely fantastic. He and Manny, the manager, talked about the best way to frame my piece. Then, Tobias started selecting frame options. There were a few good ones but above my budget. Tobias was tireless and came up with an amazing solution and one that I could afford. His sense of color and style is great. He picked the perfect frame. The rest of the transaction was seamless. My art was ready early and the recipient loved it. I will go back with any framing that I need to do and I will be sure to work with Tobias, since he is exceptional.

The store has an excellent selection and carried exactly what I needed, but my general experience with the staff was that they were reluctant to be helpful. I came to get a custom matt done and they told me I had to come back another day because the computers were down and they were short-staffed. Within a few minutes someone else said the computers were back up and I got what I needed. Not a big deal. Then, when I went to check out I asked if they had a teachers discount (most stores like this do). They said they did , but then rushed me through the check out and did not offer it to me. All in all, wasn't crazy about the customer service or the prices.

I tried to ask a male employee for help- he was very disgruntled and rude. However there was a lady there who helped me and was very nice..

You would think by the looks of it that this is a national chain, but they only have two locations in the whole country! One in NYC and this one. If you're only familiar with Michael's, definitely check it out here because they have a much better selection with great prices and great employees. I would say it's twice as good as Michael's, especially if you're shopping for picture frames.
