I had Jeff work on a large section of my horse pasture that had very poor drainage and was essentially a mud pit. He was great about giving suggestions, taking my input into consideration with my horse perspective and ultimately creating a wonderful gravel/dry lot area with tiling and drainage from the field and surrounding buildings. He went above and beyond to make sure that the horses will have a safe place to live in the wet seasons and make sure I was satisfied with the finished product. He kept me up to date throughout the process and was great about teaching me some of the details that are involved in excavation. Thank you Phair Excavation!

Phair Excavation came highly recommended and it's easy to see why.  Jeff did an outstanding job on the pad area we needed for a pole barn/garage.  He was in and out in a couple of days leaving the entire area clean, squared away and ready to work on.

Jeff from Phair Excavation delivered and did not disappoint. He came to partially clear my land to prepare for building a home. What really was helpful, was the overall knowledge of the business and sharing his passion for what he does. I gained information that I didn't know I needed! As we get ready to break ground, Jeff will be called in to dig the septic, basement and the driveway. He was very patient and listened to me about which trees to leave on the property. Hands down, very satisfied with his work ethic and integrity. He came out during heavy snow and worked too!!! Great Job Jeff.

Contracted with Jeff to prep the site for 2 pole buildings.  I had a tight window to get the sites ready and Jeff was very responsive.  Ended up doing an outstanding job.  As it was late in the season November / December he promised to return to do final grading in the spring and he followed through on that.  I received compliments from the contractors who put in the subsequent concrete and blacktop on the quality of Jeff's prep work.  I wouldn't hesitate to hire Jeff again for any future work.

Needed a barn demolished. It was so rickety we were afraid to go in it anymore. Strong winds were making it shift, the roof would fly off in pieces and I always anticipated damage to our garage or that flying debris would cause an accident. Having no idea what would be needed, Jeff took time to explain the entire demo process. I had a quote the day he came out for the estimate; amazingly that quote did not change even in light of the escalating gas prices. The barn is now down and buried. Everything done quickly with extreme care to the yard. He even did extra cleanup of an old rotting garage & concrete structure. I'd have to say that Jeff far exceeded our expectations.

Had a 1/4 acer pond built in the fall of 2021 for 16k.  Winter came the ground froze as the water filled the pond.  Once spring hit and the ground thawed the leaks started.  I have a web cam setup overlooking pond and my pond never exceeded the overflow as I check it multiple times every day.  Jeff told me the water exceeded the bank causing my pond to leak.  I went with a notable pond builder to get a 2nd opinion and he confirmed there were areas that the water was filtering through causing crystal clear water to stream out of the bottom of the 8' grade wall.  With Jeff not willing to fix the situation and instead put the blame on me I had no other option but get a 2nd opinion.  After losing 5' of water I was able to pay someone $1500 to fix the issue.  Jeff definitely knows how to dig a pond I just think he ran out of material and because of fuel costs doubling and equipment maintenance he didn't want to come back in the spring to fix it.  The pond is great but having to have someone fix a leak and not warranty after spending more than the average cost for 1/4 acer pond I was a little disappointed.

Jeff dug a pond for us and we couldn’t be happier! He was extremely knowledgeable and explained exactly what he would be doing so we fully understood the process. He went above and beyond to make the area around the pond look great for us as well. Very fair pricing for the wonderful, neat job that he did. Would highly recommend Phair Excavation!

Can't say enough about Jeff's knowledge, expertise and ability to work with the customer on any questions they may have regarding the project.  Just had work done, all my questions were answered and could not be happier with the final results.  I highly recommend anyone thinking of a project to call Jeff for a quote. I had Jeff come out and look at my yard after a previous company left me with a mess. He took extra time to go over the project and checked everyday he worked that I was satisfied and understood what he was doing. He was prompt, professional,  and did more than what he quoted me to do. He wasn't afraid to work early, late, or weekends. I can't say anything bad about the experience. I highly recommend Phair Excavation!

Jeff was beyond knowledgeable about my septic system, even though we had no diagram of my system. His prices were fair, always on time, and did a good job cleaning up our yard after the excavation.
