We recently did business with Chris at A.L. Jacobs, selling some unused gold and misc. jewelry. The whole process was very easy, and Chris explained the goings-on. Yep, there really is an acid test (for jewelry)! The upshot was that we got a check and got rid of really old jewelry that had been sitting in the dark for years. Got a coffee at the Starbucks on the way out. Happy campers.

Very helpful. Quick. Won't bullshit you for a little business. Actually talked me out of an expensive repair on a really old omega saying it wasn't worth it.
