THIS WAS THE BEST CAR SERVICE IN Rockford I HAVE EVER USED!!!!!!

I fly in and out of Chicago on a regular basis.  I have used most other services over the years and felt that I was always doomed to accept substandard service, dirty cars, and missed rides.  I found A1 Rockford Limo while doing an online search and figured that I would give the new kid on the block a try.

My in laws went to Chicago for a funeral.  The morning of flying into ORD their flight was changed and rather than flying into ORD they landed at Midway.  Flying in for a funeral is stressful enough, and the thought of me having to depend on others to take care of my older in laws was a horrible thought.  

I called A1 Rockford Limo and spoke with Norman.  He was kind, courteous, and was took the time to understand what I needed.  I made a reservation, got an immediate text confirmation number and got the name and cell phone number of the driver.  The driver met my in laws at luggage (ON TIME), took care of their needs, drove them in a new spotless care, and helped with the luggage when they got to the hotel.  When I looked at the overall cost, considering the type of car, meet and greet, and the level of service, A1 Limo was a better value than other services I have used in the past. 
This is a fairly new company and they are working to make a name for themselves.  I love working with young companies that really want your business.

I had a wonderful experience with A1 Limo service. I contacted him for a Taxi service as I needed to go to O'hare Airport from Rockford.

The Driver was a professional who showed up on time, knows the locations and the traffic, perfect communication,  and delivered all the promises he made.

I will keep using A1 and his company for all the future needs and will highly recommend them to my friends and company.

Horrible customer service tried to get rates man was rude and unwilling to give me prices told me to look on website and call back with the vehicle I was intrested in and he would give me rate called him back 4 times he hung up on me by the 5th time he said can i call you back poor service and very disrespectful.

I was in search of transportation from ORD to Rockford that wouldn't break the bank, and used tripadvisor and yelp for suggestions.  The shuttle services and limo services that were recommended by tripadvisor members got mixed reviews, so we were tempted to use the bus which was highly recommended even by our hotel's front desk. Not being familiar with the area and the bus system, plus the forecast of cold weather and snow (Jan. 2014), we didn't feel like dragging luggage around in that type of weather.  So my search continued and I came across A1 Rockford Limo on yelp.  

I had read horror stories for other Taxi and shuttle companies about how others were overcharged by the online booking agencies or drivers were not on time, so I was really hesitant to make reservations online.  A1's  website was straightforward on the rates, which were competitive with other limo companies I researched.  But what sold me was the fact that they are a local company from Rockford.

Reservations can be made online but since we were within 2 days of our trip, I called  talked to them  They asked for my flight information and gave me an all-inclusive rate.  He said he would give me the driver's info and phone number so I could contact them if any issues come up.  I did NOT need to give my credit card info.  Within minutes I received a text message summarizing my flight info and rate that he quoted.  

Before our flight left, he confirmed by text that he would be our driver and wanted me to confirm whether our flight is leaving on time.  (The storm earlier in the week had stranded some flights at SFO.)  As soon as we landed, I turned my phone on and he had sent me a message that he was enroute.  As soon as we left baggage claim, he told us exactly where to meet him and there he was in an Escalade.  It was freeeeziiiiinnnggg, and he told us to leave our bags and get in the heated car.  

I'm so glad I chose a1 Limo.  Gary was very personable, and I liked that he kept in touch throughout the transaction.  He took care of everything, and got us to our hotel safely.
