Everyone should have a membership. I haven't used or need to use the roadside assistance and towing yet, but it is good to have on hand.  I would not like being stuck and having to call around for a towing and not knowing who to call.

I just used AAA for the first time and my experience was superb. Karen B helped me with my travel details and was very informative about what I needed. The experience was nothing but pleasant and very convenient. I am looking forward to booking my next trip with her.

They just ripped my parents off.   Instead of recharging my parents battery, they convinced them to replace their 4-week old battery with ANOTHER $140 battery!  THEY ARE THIEVES

Helpful for some services related to travel, even if not a member. Passport photos are done well, with good lighting.
