Had a transmission rebuilt on my Dodge Ram, was suppose to be a total rebuild( hard and soft parts) with a warranty of only 24 months or 24000 miles. The rebuild lasted 25xxx miles, and the shop its in now, showed me that they reused some of the old parts from the original transmission. Prior to this, the transmission leaked oil, had that repaired at no cost under warranty, it started to slip again, something was fixed but was not told what, repaired under warranty. Overall, for the price of $2800.00, i feel it was a poor job, would not recommenced this shop.

I was treated with respect and honesty. Michael went above and beyond to help me get my financing. My 05 Civic runs like its new. Great people. Love this shop. They have my loyalty.

Beware of their warranty coverage. I had my 04 Envoy transmission rebuilt early December of 2015 at the AAMCO location in Chino, CA. This came with a 2 year or 24000 mile warranty. I was happy with the repair until 3/12/17 when the transmission started to act up. I brought the vehicle in the next morning expecting things to be taken care of under the warranty. Rob Paredes (Store Manager) calls me and says there is something going in there and the transmission has to be removed for further inspection. Due to me being 49 miles over the warranty I would be charged to remove the transmission, with assurance they would work with me on parts. He would not budge on this, just saying he understands. I can’t believe that they would charge me with the failure occurring literally the day after the warranty runs out. What kind of company does that? I am basically expected to pay for another transmission rebuild that will only last a day past the warranty. This is terrible customer service and there is no way I would spend another dime there or recommend their service to anyone. Maybe one customer does not matter to them, but had they simply honored the warranty I would have remained happy with the knowledge they take care of their customers. I urge anyone reading this to look elsewhere for a company that will take care of their customers.
