Food: A+ This place is really amazing, the BBQ flavor is unique in flavor and the meats are always high quality. The BBQ sauce is made from scratch, fried fish is worth a mention, they have a Greek salad , just good variety for everyone. The ribs are by far the best.
Hands down my favorite place for burgers and red meat generally. I normally would never eat beef burgers anywhere unless it’s homemade.. but let me tell you, I ate here without a second thought. The wagyu Burger and the chopped brisket sandwich were perfect!! Also, the Mac & Cheese was amazing. I’d definitely come back again. I’ll bring my family to try it too. Definitely worth every penny! - it’s halal too
I'll Start this review by saying This was the best barbecue I've had in a long time I give A.B.'s amazing ribs a 4.9 out of 5 stars. Since this is my 1st visit I ordered the feast for one person which was $32. In this feast you get 1/3 pound brisket, 2 bones of ribs, 3 chicken wings an order of Mac and cheese French fries a small cole slaw and a piece of corn bread. The ribs I give 5/5 stars They were very delicious and no sauce needed! The brisket was also delicious, juicy, very tender and melted in my mouth I will also give 5/5 stars. The chicken wings were smoked & very well seasoned But could not compete with the ribs and the brisket so I give 3/5 stars. The Mac and cheese tasted good but seemed more like an out of the Box item instead of made from scratch so for that reason I give 2/5 stars. The French fries were batterd style and had really good Flavor but they were cold. The cole slaw was very tasty with a slight sweetness to it and And the corn bread was so delicious it was almost like a little dessert loaf. They have a regular and a spicy sauce at the table kind of a smoky and cherry wood flavor sauces I couldn't figure out which one I liked the best. They have a large variety of drink choices all for only $1. They had really wimpy Coney island style napkins but very sturdy on plastic Ware. The money paid for the amount of food I received definitely worth It! And the workers were super nice and actually came out to my table and asked me if I was enjoying my food my cool so that's a plus. They also offer a variety smoked brisket and steaks for purchase to cook at home. I will definitely be returning in the near future.
WOW. Went in with moderate expectations and found a Diamond in the Rough. I got the TOO MUCH to eat special, Feast for 1. The brisket, ribs, mac n cheese and fries were very good. The chicken wings were something different. The taste of the chicken wings were unique, very tasty and demanding of more. The wings were my favorite. The rub / seasoning was top notch to me.
Had dinner with a friend here early today, the food was very impressive. We ordered beef ribs, smoked wings, Mac and cheese, fries, corn bread, brisket, and the ABs Texas burger. The ribs and brisket had a deep non-bitter smoke flavor with well rendered fat and tenderness. The burger was phenomenal, one of the best I’ve ever had. The service was also quick and friendly.
IG and the aroma of the restaurant lead us to eat here. The staff were friendly and helpful. They informed of us what they were out of before we ordered. The chicken and beef ribs were very tough and we had to pry the meat off the bones. The flavor of the food was decent not to much smoky flavor. The Mac and cheese was creamy and noodles were perfect, we skipped the bread crumbs. Baked beans and cornbread were the best part of the meal. I called the restaurant back to inform of the toughness of the meat. Staff informed me they do chicken to certain temp and back beef ribs are not as tender as short ribs.
I have driven by this place a ton of times but decided to stop in after seeing another food reviewer post about this place. It doesn't look at all on the inside the way I imagined it looking from the way it looks outside. The interior is bright, well lit and inviting. Service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the Texas burger which comes with brisket on top. I ordered my burger cooked medium and they prepared it perfectly medium which is a plus and a rarity. The burger patty didnt have a ton of flavor but the brisket and toppings carried the flavor load. I also dipped my burger in a healthy amount of their spicier BBQ sauce. Fried were pretty good standard frozen fries with seasoning already in the batter. They have canned soft drinks. My experience was good. Food was good. It's not the cheapest place to eat, but worth it for the occasional splurge. Pics included to highlight the food and decor.
Drove all the way from New York for these ribs. They were really juicy and soft. The brisket was really good as well. And the chicken wings were delicious and juicy. Possibly the best bbq food in the whole country. Totally worth it.Recommended dishesPlatter for 2 with Brisket Smoked Wings Beef Ribs Macaroni and Cheese French Fries and Corn Bread
They were out of brisket for the day but got this combo of ribs and a half chicken….was amazing! Flavor on ribs and chicken was 10/10, their max and cheese is amazing as well! Love that they also sell creekstone frozen meat to buy!
I wouldn't call this place amazing but it was ok at best. We ordered the platter for two so we could sample everything. The brisket was very tender but much like the ribs and chicken, lacked flavor. I was expecting a flavor burst in my mouth! It just didn't happen for me for neither the brisket, chicken or the ribs. Our chicken was under cooked. And I had hoped the skin would be crunchy. Instead it was more like soggy. The beef ribs were pretty tough. I expected the meat to fall off the bone...no such luck. As for the sides, the mac and cheese tasted like 'boxed' and we ate about a spoonful a piece. The cole slaw was was drier than we liked. In fact, there were pieces of slaw in the bowl that was as dry as a bone. The cornbread was more like cake and far too sweet for us. Sadly, the best thing on the plate for us were the fries. We were very underwhelmed. I doubt we will return here. It’s important to note that the safe was friendly and the restaurant was clean but the floor was very slippery.
