We specialize in repair, maintenance and replacement of standard and high-efficiency heating and cooling systems, full service plumbing, home energy audits, wall/attic insulation, & many other energy upgrade solutions. We offer upfront pricing on service; meaning we come to your home, diagnose the problem, inform you of the exact cost, get your approval, then do the repair. We don't price per hour and our service technicians are not paid on commission. We are fair and honest, only fixing what you need and what you want.

Our installation teams are top-notch. We wear booties in your home, use drop cloths to keep things clean, & clean up each time we leave.

We started with the company when it was Ideal, continued when it changed to Van-Go and when it became ABC Cooling & Heating we continued. We have purchased new furnaces from them on two separate occasions and we have always been pleased with their salesman, installers, and the technicians that come to our home twice a year to service our furnace and air conditioner. I trust them and we have never been disappointed. I recommend them highly.

We had a good experience dealing with ABC cooling. They moved our appointment up a day, which happens to be July 4th--unexpected but pleasant surprise. Justin shows up in the middle of our 4 hour appointment. He diagnosed the problem, asked for authorization and repaired within 1 hour. He also checked both units for refrigerant levels as requested without complaining. The staffs are courteous. This review is for service only because we did not shop for price.

Had ABC out to check out my AC and did a great job. From the scheduling staff to the technician everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. Even when the technician had to return 20 min after he left, they were eager to make sure the issue was resolved.

ABC sold us an a/c system and have serviced it twice a year since. They are friendly helpful and knowledgeable. We have not had any problems with our system, and they make sure we don't. If you are looking for a great heating and air conditioning expert company look no further. ABC is it. We tell anyone asking that they are the greatest. ABC cooling of San Jose.

I first heard of ABC in 2011, when I signed up for the Energy Upgrade California program. They replaced my HVAC equipment, including installing new ductwork. I was so pleased with the work they did and the professionalism of the company that I have had them back to do other jobs, such as wrapping my hot water pipes. I also signed up for them to do the twice-yearly maintenance on the heating and air conditioning units. I have other companies do maintenance checks, including a free one a couple of years ago, and none of them are as thorough as ABC. Their invoice includes all the checks that were done and the readings.
