Much like a lot of the mountain town buildings, this place is really nice. Having come from eastern North Carolina, I really like the rock/stone work on the exterior, and I realize it's a functional thing, but the pitched roof really does look a lot better than the blocks on the coast. The whole layout is all-around more appealing.
Of course, the inside is pretty similar to every other ABC Store in NC, as they're a government-run entity.
The guys who work there have always been quick and courteous in their service, and it has contributed to an all-around positive experience pretty much every time.
I know what to expect when I go there, and I haven't been disappointed.

Nice clean store, well stocked with a wide variety of products. Staff was friendly and helpful. Prices were in line with other retailers that I deal with in other states. I would be happy to shop there again, if I was in the area and needed anything they have.

Clean store with a great selection to choose from. They often have really nice sales on different brands and rarely run out of stock.
