BEWARE BEWARE
I met Mr. Blessed with ABCR Builders thru Angie's List, paid for a job and scheduled for him to come and do 2 small ceramic floors, totaling 129 square feet.  
I discovered he was very friendly, a profuse talker and bragged a lot about his skill sets.  
When he first arrived he gave me an exorbitant estimate, and I reminded him I had already paid thru Angie's List for one of his deals.  He abandoned that, and expressed that he didn't' know about the Angie's List and how it works.  
He made an appointment for the following day to work on my fireplace instead to honor the Angie's list coupon, but never showed up, nor ever called to inform me he could/would not make it.
What is interesting is that I called him the night before and confirmed that he was coming that next day at 10:00. He said yes. 
Next day 10:00 came and went and no Mr. Blessed.  I called him at 11:20 and left a message reminding him we had an appointment for 10:00, I also left an inquiry asking what time he would be arriving.  I inferred disapproval and disappointment with the fact that he never called to cancel or inform me he would be late, or not show up...  
He texted me back at 11:40 saying he had just woke up an would call me shortly. (So at best, if he had intentions to come at that point, it would be past 3:00 before he would arrive). I waited all day for him, and he never called me back, nor showed up.  
Things seemed to have gone south when i refused to give him a $700.00 deposit for 5 sheets of sub flooring "for my 129 total square foot job", and thin set, etc. (imagine he told me these boards cost approximately $59.00 each.), which I thought was an outrageous price, and I told him so.  He sounded upset when I declined and his 'Rasta accent' kept coming and going...  
I had my own cement boards which I paid $11.95 each, and other materials that I had already purchased.  I requested that he use [my] materials to do my ceramic floor, but he refused and said he does things his way or not at all. Hmmm..???
This man is all over the place in his mind and has too many other distractions to remain focused. I told him he had too much stuff going on and unfortunately, I believe he took it as a compliment.
If you don't have time to focus on my job, and are going to stand me up, and not even give me the decency of a phone call to cancel or advise me you are going to be late or a NO SHOW,..???  
That was the final coupe de gras for me and I no longer want to do business with him, because this kind of behavior only repeats itself.
This man completely wasted my time. 
I WILL NEVER USE HIM IN THE FUTURE, particularly due to his limited level of professionalism, poor judgement, lacking business acumen along with a complete disrespect for other peoples time.
I would hate for this to happen to someone else, so I had to share my experience.  I had hoped to write a positive review and wish I had something positive to share other than he was friendly and cordial.  Just not a good businessman.
