Story

Abe's is a family owned and operated cajun classic out of Lake Charles. Founded in 2001, Scott and Leslie Abraham decided through much prayer and consideration to open a shop in a suburb of Southeast Houston. They knew nothing about the city, but felt in their hearts that God was calling them to go. So, they went. With little knowledge and a ton of ambition and trust, they set out to establish one of the most successful restaurants in the Houston area. Not only has the business profited more every year it's been open, but the community has been impacted in tremendous ways. The only marketing campaign the Abrahams ever used was a billboard over on Highway 3 when they first opened. That didn't do so hot, so they decided that their primary marketing tool would be through giving back to Clear Lake and the surrounding areas. The Abrahams have used their family recipes to bless thousands and thousands of people in the area, including the homeless, the elderly, students, teachers, policemen and women, the military, local ministries, and so many more. While the food keeps people coming back, the legacy of generosity is what creates the magic of Abe's.
