Abitino's was everything I was hoping for in NY style pizza! The crust was just right, the cheese was tangy, lacey, and flavorful, and the sauce was simple but delicious. We tried many other pizza places around NYC, but this was our favorite by far. We liked it so much that we came back every day for three days! When the shop got busy, there were times when the crust got overcooked slightly, but for the most part, it was 10/10 quality. The staff is efficient but friendly, and while the shop is very small, there is some seating/standing room if you want to eat there. There is also a restroom. The line moves fast, so if you are in NYC, make sure to give Abitino's a try for an authentic pizza experience!
This is by far THE BEST hidden gem when it comes to grandma style pizza. We stumbled upon it randomly in November and didn’t get around to giving them a review then. It’s so good I opted to getting my steps in, walked 20 blocks and 3 avenues to earn if. The bread is fluffy with the right amount of crisp/crunch on the outside, solid sauce , good amount of cheese and the pepperoni is cut thin so it gets that great crunch and also a tiny bit of spice you’re looking for in your pepperoni pizza/ the guys are super nice. It’s not expected in this part of town. Please don’t change the recipe! Please know this is a spot for a grab and go, or grab and eat there, not frills. Just good pizza
Great pizza. Nice and quick service. 2 slices coated 10.75$.Food: 5/5
Disappointed. Was told one price for a slice but another man charged us almost $2 more each slice and loudly corrected the guy who told us the cost. Would have sucked it up- hey, it’s NYC and not cheap - but then we heard ALL the next customers still being quoted the same price we’d originally been told? Pepperoni slice was good but not great, and for the price we paid for 2 slices, more expensive than others in the area but not worth the extra cost.
Excellent pizza by the slice and the garlic knots are heavenly! They also serve gluten free pizza, only takes 15 minutes!Food: 5/5
Great find on a whim. Atmosphere a 5 as you'd expect a NY pizza takeaway to have. Pizza was perfect. Quick service.Food: 5/5
The pizza was not good. Ordered a Margherita, cheese x2, and a Supreme Cugine from 51st St. The pizza was overly crisp, the cheese was basically burnt into the bread, and the Margherita while having 1 small piece of basil was smashed under all the other pizza. If you can find the Margherita pizza, let me know. Would not recommend which is unfortunate for a pizza place as all pizza usually edible.

The pepperoni and sausage slice I got was great! Crispy crust that tasted great and very nice tomato sauce. The garlic knots weren't great imo. Tough bread. Wasn't light and fluffy as expected. The garlic and butter level was properly done.Food: 4/5
