I go here for a compounded thyroid prescription. They have always filled my prescription on time or the day before required. They have always been friendly and helpful when I've come to pickup my prescription. Being close to my work helps a lot :-). I have purchased vitamins their once also. They helped me find something appropriate for me/my age. I definitely recommend them to people who need a compounding pharmacy.

I've been going to a compounding pharmacy for about 3 years and understand the benefits of bio-identical vs. synthetic drugs.   I had some issues at my other pharmacy and had heard good things about Abrams Royal so decided to give them a try and I was SO impressed!  I'm a fan and have been with them a little over a year.  They were super nice when I was in there today so I decided to show the love and write a review.

First they are very personable and professional and the ladies who worked there were sincerely friendly (and it's the same people each time not a rotating door like the previous place I went).  They actually took time to explain things to me and sincerely took an interest in helping me!   The difference was night and day from my previous experience with a compounding pharmacy. I love that Abrams Royal is owned and operated by a local family and that they have been in business for decades.   They also went above and beyond working with me to get a prescription early when I was traveling out of town. I don't go in there often but when I do they know my name and answer all my questions and are never in too much of a hurry to help me.

OH - and BONUS ... the same prescription was about 15% less expensive at Abrams Royal - can't beat that!

I love, love this pharmacy and the staff! Prior to their opening, I used the original Abrams Royal pharmacy for 10 years, but when this opened in my neighborhood I was equally impressed from day one.  They may be small, which  gives it a neighborhood pharmacy vibe, but they are very professional and well-trained, and they even offer a broad range of educational classes to the public that are amazing for understanding personal health! In fact, I wouldn't trust another compounding pharmacy as much as this one and it's why I've stayed with them since their opening.   As for being closed Saturday, I simply plan accordingly, as I would with any of my errands.

I was a patient at their original location in Dallas & followed them up here when this store opened since I do live in Farmers Branch. I like the staff there.
They are knowledgeable about the supplements that I use (they even do muscle testing by Cody-the owner when she's available & they generally have my prescriptions ready in a reasonable amount of time.
Keep in mind that they are a compounding pharmacy so it's not a "walk in, walk out" thing like CVS or Walmart. They make most of the medicine as it's ordered so, yeah sometimes it will take more than a day or 2.
I like that the staff is always the same familiar faces & the girl who checks me out usually remembers me by sight. It makes me feel important.
Only real complaint- neither location takes insurance.   :-(
