Wonderful atmosphere. Great food. Outstanding service.  Would be great for a relaxed dress, quick bite ( tapas or something like that) or a longer, dressier,  'date night' meal.  Love it! Will definitely go back.

I'm not usually a fan of Mexican food but I loved this place.
It looks beautiful on the inside, with high ceilings and a balcony running all the way around.
We all got margaritas and they came out pretty good.
I didn't get a burrito because every other place I have gotten them, they are usually bigger than my head. A few people at the table got them and they were actually normal sized (that's to say, a normal person could eat one and you wouldn't be stuffed to the gills). I got the shredded beef and shredded pork enchiladas. The meat was cooked to perfection and seasoned very well. The rice was some of the best rice I've ever had - well seasoned.
Overall , if I'm ever back in OKC, I'll definitely be back.

We went during lunch.  They had a reasonably priced buffet for lunch (even if I would have preferred to see more options on it).  They have a larger variety of choices than most Mexican restaurants. I like that they list the calories of each item with the description.  We had a difficult time getting refills on drinks and getting the server's attention. 
Pros:

Reasonable prices 
Cons: 
Could NOT find an ADA compliant entrance though there are ramps inside

Nice staff, very helpful. The food was served promptly, and the portions were generous. The meats were cooked well and were fork tender. The only issue I had was the excessive amount of salt used on all the food, and the tortilla chips were disappointing (paper thin, oily,  and flavorless). I might just be sensitive to salt, so someone else might think everything was perfect. Abuelos has a great history, so I'll probably give them another try.

We visit Abuelo's on a regular bases. We've become familiar with a couple of the servers also. Last couple of times we visited, our food hasn't been 100%. It not horrible but not being served as we ordered. It may be due to staff being different every time we go. It won't keep us from going but please pick it up!
