Today's visit was awesome.  Found what Victoria store NEVER HAS plus Victoria store very rude.  Waited to see a gun 10mins, never came around would just walk by, never saying "can I help you? "As soon as I turn  they help the guy who just walked up. O well never again 👎👎

Husband and I found really good deals, on shoes we bought. The store is clean, organized, and well stocked. The employees are helpful and kind. at one point one even got a ladder, to reach shoes my Husband wanted.

Everything is overpriced.  Parking lot is terrible. Had a bad experience a while back. About two weeks prior to this experience I had bought a pair of Nike basketball shoes. The day that me and my friend went to buy some thing from this location I had them on., I needed to go to the bathroom so I asked a sales representative where they were at. She pointed to where they were. When I was finished, I told that representative thank you. Then that rep started to follow me everywhere I went. I was meeting up with my friend I noticed she was behind me. I asked her if there was a problem? She responded that I needed to come with her. That she had called security on me!? In no time there was a tall anglo man accusing me of shoplifting! I asked him under what grounds? He responded that I had stolen a pair of shoes...... the one I had on....... the ones I had bought two weeks ago from a different store. I told him how could I have shoplifted if I came in with these. He said can you prove you came in with them I show you the security tape. I said show me!.... he hesitated. I said show me a second time. After a few tensed seconds he said you.. I believe you. You're good to go. Don't get me wrong I don't mind going from time to time, but now I keep a watchful eye on the employees. Some are just walking around looking to see who they can prosecute. Especially if they are young and non-white.

There is always a wait and usually very difficult to get help.  The gun department has good potential but salespeople are not aggressive  but after saying that I know what to expect and I will always go back for the sales.  When I need ammo I will buy it online from them easier than waiting in line to pay.

I had a great experience at Academy today. I was searching for a pair of shoes and I asked a young man named Mark if he could help me and he did. His customer service was exemplary. Other times that I have gone to purchase shoes here I have had some not so good experiences with the employees so today I even asked to speak with the manager to let him know that this young man was doing an excellent job. Thank you again Mark.
