LOVE this place! The service in the firearms department is SO much more helpful AND FEMALE FRIENDLY THAN CABELLAS!! They  take us lady gun owners seriously. I only  wish they had a bigger variety of knives/daggers/blades, etc.

Lady behind counter as you enter with red hair was horrible. I said Hello, she just stared at me as though I was suppose to say something next. No greeting from her whatsoever. She acted like she didn't want to be there... maybe she shouldn't be? This was on 1/4/2018 @5:40p. I was with my daughter and 2 grandsons to get the youngest one some shoes that were being held.

I will tell you...I hated to see my Kmart go. However, Academy has surprised me, and I have been there on more than one occasion. I just knew that this would be a place that I would never be able to afford to shop in, but I was wrong. I have bought a bike, guns, shoes...and everything has been reasonably priced, and they have a good selection to choose from. In boots you can range from $30.00 up to over $200.00, so you have many options to choose from, same goes for guns as well. I will certainly be back again.

Nice store for workout equipment, athletics, clothes, and footwear. Also has hunting and fishing gear. More expensive than wal-mart, but better selection. Employees are a bit rude and show a high rotation rate at store.

I order my eight year old son a football helmet online for Christmas. On Christmas morning we learned one of the side pads was missing! I took the helmet back to the Cartersville, GA, location and the store manager was so helpful. He got me new pads for my helmet and made all right without any hesitation!!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IN CARTERSVILLE , GA!!
