We called for a taxi to take us to a show on West Point and pick us up afterward. The fare was very reasonable ($5 each way) but the guy showed up late to get us. Then he had forgotten his ID to get on post. Then he didn't have the keys to the other vehicle that had his ID, so we had to drive to his house, then back to the other car to get his ID. Now we were pressed for time and he offered us the trip going for free. We paid him anyway because he seemed sweet, and gave him a $2 tip. When we came out of the theatre at 4:55pm we called for our pick up. The answering machines were on (on both numbers), and our messages were never answered. We ended up walking over 3 miles home in the heat and with a bad knee. Never again!

Worst taxi service I've ever NOT used. I called for a taxi at 7:30 and the man asked if 8 was ok. I said that I needed 7:30 so that I could catch a train at garrison. I wait for 30 minutes for him to finally show up at 8 like he planned to all along.  When he showed up I was too frustrated to give them my money so I found a different way.

Do not use! No common decency and no respect for those who pre plan for a ride with this horrible company!!!!!

I'd like to begin with this review by saying, this would be my first disappointment of any type of service related company. My wife and I took a much needed vacation to New York City for a few days. While in the city we decided to visit West Point military academy for a tour. After being dropped of by our uber driver, we knew that we would have to secure a taxi to get back to the nearest train station. 

We were referred to this taxi company to help with the logistics to get to the train station. Academy taxi was not only called 3 hours in advance. They also made it clear they had our number to text us when they were ready to get us. 

After the tour we called to see if they were on their way. No answer and no call back and no text. Keep in mind that West Point isn't in the city at all. So we depended on this service to get us back. After numerous calls, I was surprised at the extreme disrespect they had for common decency. For those who are doing what we did, don't. Just be sure to have a ride already pre planned. Academy Taxi does not care for their customers or potential customers. 

Still at this moment, there has been zero follow up. This company can not be trusted.

I needed to get to Harriman station so I could get to Newark.  I asked them to pick me up at 12:55, but the guy was 15 minutes late and made me miss the train and my flight.  He then proceeded to throw a hissy fit and began to curse at how it wasn't his fault I missed the train, even though he was very late.  I had to then find another taxi company to take me to Newark after this guy took off.  I was forced to pay an additional $155 dollars for the new cab instead of the $20 train ticket.  I will NEVER use this company again.

You couldn't pick up a cadet of West Point from garrison so he got in a bunch of trouble.
