We have been locally owned here in Chattanooga for over sixty years.

Story

Access Family Pharmacy is both a retail and compounding pharmacy. We specialize in hormone replacement therapy, offering the ability to create Bio Identical hormone replacement. Our custom compounding techniques are used everyday to provide you with your needs.

We also have a specialized pharmacy that offers medication bubble packing for assisted living facilities and private patients.

We are more than just an excellent pharmacy. Inside the pharmacy is Access Medical Equiptment, offering complete DME supplies; Oxygen, Nebulizers, Power Wheelchars, CPAP machines, and accessories. We also carry an extensive line of Orthopedic supplies such as: canes, crutches. wrists and ankle braces.

The Pink Petal Boutique, our state of the art mastectomy boutique, is also located inside the pharmacy. Here the breast cancer patient can work with a professional certified fitter in a private setting to purchase breast forms, bras, and accessories.

Diabetic shoes and inserts are available as well as personal fittings with one of our certified fitters.

Mary a new transplant from Colorado, assisted me with picking up a knee walker. Outstandingly nice person. Paper work was ready upon arrival and highlighted where I needed to initial and sign. She took time to speak with my daughter and even helped me load the knee walker into the vehicle.
 Excellent service.

Awful customer service all I did is call looking for an arm sling for a child and the lady yelled at me and told me she don't carry that sort of stuff....sad thing is a pediatric dr told me to call them...why would they recommend a place that doesn't carry them? RUDE RUDE RUDE!  Does not even deserve a star but that's the lowest rating I can give! I hope everyone else that goes there or calls has better service!!

Over the 25 years that I have lived in Chattanooga I have counted on Access many times for meds not available elsewhere and I have always found them helpful and knowledgeable about any questions  They compounded two meds for me that got me through a high-risk pregnancy  at 42 years old after a long history of infertility and preg losses.  When I found it necessary to move my mother to Chattanooga into an assisted living facility, they provided the complicated monthly med dose packages as well as other supplies.  Furthermore, as a fellow asthma sufferer, I found the young lady who helped me purchase an at-home nebulizer after I also developed a resp illness this past winter very empathetic of how panicked one can feel if you can't breathe.  As a health care provider myself with 25 years intensive care experience I really can't emphasize the importance of the services they provide.  Kudos!

Been there a number of times, only because I have to get some medicine compounded, and even though I had called in my prescription 2 to 3 days in advance it would not be ready. This has happen on more than 1 occasion and they even tried to blame me for not calling and checking to see if it was ready. Hello, what is the purpose of the automatic call in if you have to call back and check. This place is not located with easy accessibility so it's a planned tripped to go there and having to return for the same prescription is madding.
