My wife and I are both busy professionals. We have a complicated tax situation and were regularly disappointed by other organizations. The team at Accounting 4 DC is amazing! Pro's - very open and clear lines of communication - excellent at helping make sense of our unique position and filing status - exceptionally well organized - fantastic and easy to use tools for gathering our information. It is complete and comprehensive - information that carries over year to year is already filled out and completed. Saves me time! - prompt replies to my questions - I have a wonderful sense of confidence and piece of mind that my complicated tax situation is being handled with perfection. - ZERO pressure to pursue shady or unethical "angles" like other firms - absolutely exceptional and expert professionals - fairly priced for the market. You can find cheaper options but you won't find all of the above benefits all in one place if and good luck with "the other guy"! Con's - I'm moving to the other side of the country and can't take them with me!! - don't be intimidated by the tools for gathering your information. It ultimately simplifies the process and ensures that the team has everything they need for your situation. It is exponentially more simple than filling out your own taxes and is well worth the effort.

I discovered last minute that as a grant recipient that I would need to submit my quarterly taxes in 2 days. Granted I should have been aware of this, but the young lady who received my call was very rude about not being able to help me. "And you need to file in TWO DAYS??" was the response. I'm calling for help, not judgement!

Accounting 4 DC is an outstanding accounting firm. They have prepared my family's taxes for the past 4 or 5 years. While personable, and quite knowledgeable, they bring a great amount of charisma to the table that I have never seen with other tax professionals. They are fantastic at what they do, and seem to enjoy it. You know they are the best as each year they get 100% booked come tax season. No matter where we have lived, Maryland, Florida, Oklahoma, or New Mexico, Accounting4DC has always stepped up to the plate with honesty and diligence. With a track record of being punctual, and finding the greatest refund for me and my family, year after year, we look forward to working with Accounting 4 DC in the future.

I hired Stephanie to do my personal income taxes for the first time in 2012 because they were somewhat complicated that year due to a mid-year move from Puerto Rico to DC. She did a great job preparing my taxes and got the work done well ahead of the filing deadline. I was so pleased with her work that I quit doing my usual practice of doing my own taxes for good and used her again this year (2013). Stephanie did an equally excellent job, and her rates are very reasonable. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of tax preparation services.

Tax time is my least favorite time of the year. Stephanie removes the stress and complications of taxes by taking care of everything promptly, efficiently and professionally all for a great price. She is very thorough in explaining the complex issues involving the ever changing rules and regulations. I will continue to use Accounting4DC and will continue to recommended this service to friends and colleagues.
