This place claims to have "Christian values" they do not. When they made a mistake on my taxes and I received a letter, I kept calling them. They kept blowing me off blaming the IRS. One I filed a BBB complaint, they actually lied and stated I cussed them out on the phone and that I was offered a partial refund and it was all a lie. After filing with the BBB, I did get a partial refund and they did fix THEIR mistake and I still never cussed them out. I guess I am the one with the Christian Values. It was sad because I had been using their service for years and they so easily threw away a customer like it was nothing. Now I save money and do my own taxes. They were over priced anyway and I guess they were not experts after all.

This place was recommended by word of mouth so for 3 years I've had them do my personal taxes. Although they are friendly, each year they have done my taxes I have gotten letters from the IRS indicating there have been descrepencies which has led to me writing more checks. One year, I had a small portion of my student loan forgiven and according to AU, I didn't need to pay taxes on that forgiven amount. Sure enough, I got a letter from the IRS stating otherwise. After going back and forth with the IRS and AU, we came to the conclusion that I did indeed owe money. Fine. And just a few days ago (its November 2016), I received a letter from Indiana IRS that I owe more from my 2013 taxes. It feels like a gift from the devil that keeps on giving. I took my 2015 taxes to another accountant to which he found missing money (just by glancing at AU's prepared packet including the same forms I've handed over to AU) from 2014 that I was owed that AU didn't even notice. It is frustrating to me that each year I pay a few hundred dollars for their service, and there are mistakes every single year. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

My wife and I have used Accounting Unlimited for years. They are not the cheapest Bookkeepers or Tax advisors out there nor are they always easy to reach by phone. I have always been a firm believer that you get what you pay for. They are experts in personal and business taxes. Accounting Unlimited personel all seem to be professional and helpful. For small or large business or personal tax preparation, I would very highly recommend Accounting Unlimited. We trust them in a world where trust sometimes seems scarce.
