Bought a lawn mower at Ace Hardware in butte 2016. This year would not start, took it to ace to have it serviced. Got it back in 4 days paid 53.00. Took it home to mow the lawn. Ran maybe 5 minutes and started to make a terrible racket. Stopped the mower, looked underneath to find the blade was loose and just spinning. Imagine the shock, just get the mower back from service and the blade is not even tight! So I call Ace to talk to the service person, am told he is gone fir the day, left my name and number, he never did return my call. 3 days later i call the store ask for the service person, told again he is gone, ask for the manager, am told he is gone for the day. Leave my name and number and a message, wait 3 days again nothing. I send an email to the customer service department and never get a reply. This is customer service? Imagine what wold have happened if that blade came off and hurt someone. Think there would we a lawsuit? I just can't imagine Ace would be so uncaring as to take care of an issue they caused.

This is the only store that not only charges you for the items you planned on buying but also the part you brought in as an example of what you needed. They cannot say there was not a high profit margin on that sale. What a bunch of bone heads!
