I love the South Asheville Ace Hardware for several reasons: It isn't a huge big-box store where I have to wander for miles. Parking is easy and close to the front door. But it's all the friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful folks working there who really make this my store. For example, Cat, head of the paint section. She knows the products well, and has helped me with several wood related projects. She's smart, polite and very helpful. Thank you Cat!!!

Of all the places we shop, this store, this location, is the most pleasant and helpful experience. The employees are very friendly. The stock is complete and fairly priced. The store is scrupulously clean and bright and beautiful. I look forward to every visit and wish I could get a job there so I could enjoy the happiness every day. If you need hardware and/or help, this is the place to go!!

Professional, courteous and helpful staff with competitive prices. Convenient location in Skyland. They sell and service Stihl. And, in his off season, which is all year except for late December, Mr. S. Claus works there.
