I ordered a beautiful piece of granite from the company. The price was excellent so instead of purchasing only one vanity top, I ordered two. The order was timely, and professionally installed. I recommend this company. I will use them for my kitchen countertop in the future.

I will never do business with Ace Wholesale Flooring and Granite ever again. Our contractor recommended this place because of their low prices. But I guess the whole get-what-you-pay-for applies here too. Mr. Godwin personally showed us around the stone yard and helped us find what we were looking for. When we did find some stone we liked, we noticed some large brown/orange spots all over the surface of the light colored stone. When we pointed them out to Mr. Godwin he slapped me on the back chuckling and assured us that the spots would come out during the fabrication process. He said “don’t worry. We would never put something like this in your kitchen.” Well, guess what? We had brown/orange rust stains all over our light colored granite in all three bathrooms, the laundry room, and kitchen. We called Mr. Godwin the same day they were installed to let him know that the stains he said would come out where still there. He came out and treated them with some sort of acid but still the spots remain. We spoke with several people in the industry and they all said pretty much the same thing. The rust is *in* the stone. It is not just on the surface and will not come out. Even if treated, they may appear to go away but would be back as humidity penetrated the stone and leached the rust back to the surface. I wish Mr. Godwin would have been honest with us when we were walking the stone yard. We could have picked different slabs but were never given the opportunity. My best guess is that he knew he would have a hard time pushing those defective slabs and thought we would never know the difference. In my opinion, Mr. Godwin lied to us on multiple occasions and was just trying to dump sub-par stone. We ended up pulling out all of Mr. Godwin’s stone and hiring a more reputable company fabricate and re-install quality stone. This job ended up pushing back our closing date and cost us thousands of dollars. I feel like I have been scammed. If he will do this to us, there is a good chance he will do the same to you. Find another granite dealer. I wish I had followed my gut instincts and not dealt with this guy.

Horrible experience with Ace Wholesale Granite. When we went to select slabs for our new house, the owner assured us that the numerous orange spots on the slab we were interested in were only caused by the sun and would all come out during fabrication. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Upon installation, we saw that there were numerous spots on the tops of every piece of granite and huge orange streaks on the undersides. When we called Lester about it, he said he had a compound he could use that would remove the rest of the spots and that he would send someone out to treat them as soon as possible. In the meantime, he called our contractor several times asking for his check, which our contractor was holding until he came back to treat our granite. He finally showed up five days later, denied that he told us the spots would come out and then turned around and admitted that he did say one big spot would come out but only because it would be cut out. This was absolutely not what he told us when we were looking at slabs. He admitted to our contractor that he had ordered a special solution and treated all the slabs once before they left his shop. If he never said the spots would come out, and didn't realize we were concerned about them, why go to the trouble and expense of treating them??? While he was here, he and another worker splashed some of the compound on a few spots (and our bathroom wall), said there was nothing wrong with the granite, and left. The compound lightened the orange in a few of the spots but left big wet looking spots everywhere it was applied. When our contractor contacted Lester again to let him know that we weren't happy with the granite, Lester became extremely defensive and threatened to file a lien on our property unless he received his payment. We had four other counter top professionals look at the granite, and they all agreed it was extremely poor quality and never should've been used for counter tops. They also said that, more than likely, the treated spots would bleed back through. When my husband spoke with Lester to try to work out a resolution, the entire "conversation" was basically Lester yelling and threatening. Long story short, he did file a mechanic's lien against our property. Our contractor worked out a negotiated amount (around the same amount it was going to cost us to hire an attorney to contest the lien), and we paid Ace to get them to release the lien so we could close on our mortgage. Our contractor removed the tops, which were in all three of our bathrooms, our laundry room, and our kitchen. We then hired a reputable fabricator who installed top quality granite throughout our house for less than the original amount Ace tried to charge. Save yourself the money, time, and headache...skip this sham of a business and find a reputable and trustworthy fabricator to do your granite work.

The salesman, Charlie, was knowledgeable and very helpful. The selection of granite on their location was very impressive. The install headed by Greg went very well and the install team was very neat, using tarps and vacuuming as the work progressed, keeping the dust to a minimum. The whole experience was like dealing with a loving family. 5 stars and then some!

My experience with this company was truly excellent. The selection of stone was on par a certain Buckhead wholesaler we looked at previously but the Ace prices were unbelievablely better, about half of the previous quartzite estimate we received. We found a beautiful slab, placed a cash disposit, and less than two weeks later the job was completed. The installation was flawless; it took less than 3 hours for about 75sqft. The team added a few very nice, high-end features such as a stone backer behind the stove and lumber reinforced undermounting for the kitchen sink. Absolutely statsified with the value and work quality. Thank you Ace Granite team!
