While the driver was on time and courteous, the rate I was charged was ridiculous. It was almost $20 if you include tip to bring my kids to school and be dropped at city Hall. I was in the car no more than literally 7 minutes. There's no way it was even barely a 2 miles trip of that! Robbery

We never had anything but good service. One of the few local taxi companies that always arrived when they said they would. There are other taxis that leave people sitting for an hour or longer after they claim they will be there but Acme never did that with us. We are grateful for their services while we were without a vehicle.

Terrible terrible experience. One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had, not just from a cab company, but from any company period. Had a decent enough ride to our location, where we tipped the driver generously and confirmed that they would be able to pick us up for our return voyage. Called the cab for our return trip a few hours later and was told they would be 30 - 40 mins. After waiting an hour (after making attempts to call the company and having the call go to a busy signal), finally got in contact with Acme and was told our driver would be there any minute. Waited another 20 mins, and my gf called to confirm they were on the way, politely reminding them we had been waiting over an hour. Whoever was operating the phone snapped at my gf that we had not been waiting over an hour (we had been, and even if we hadn't, a taxi company is a customer service business; you cannot snap at customers, we are what makes the company your revenue!) and told us we would be picked up 6-7 mins later. 15 mins later we got fed up with the no show cab driver and walked the 5 miles in the cold home. During that over an hour walk, driver never called us apparently never intending to pick us up. Can understand if a pickup location is inconvenient or resources are not available to pick up customers, but let us know that ahead of time instead of wasting my time! Wish the Albany region had Uber so unacceptable business models like this wouldn't stand.
