The Across The Street Pub has been continuously open for over 40 years and continues to offer affordable, quality pub fare directly across from SUNY Albany

Story

The Across the Street Pub was opened in 1973 and has continuously been in business for nearly 45 years. The atmosphere is casual and the bar and dining room can accommodate over 120 people on any given night. We proudly continue to serve the Capital District with quality "pub grub" and strive to maintain a high level of customer service as has been the Pub's tradition.

We offer an extensive menu that has many options for all who patronize our establishment. Our wings, burgers, flatbread pizzas, and custom salads are favorites and give people variety to choose. Our beer selection also balances domestic, import, and craft beers. There is something for everyone.

This place is great, very friendly staff and the wings are incredible. The spinach salad was very tasty and the place is nice and clean.

Almost 10 dollars ?! for a very flimsy BLT ?! I ate the sandwhich and was ready for a trip to 5 guys immediately following !! I will NEVER EVER return to Across the Street. I was starving ! I went to pick up 2 sandwiches one for me and one for my mother.... the bag was very light... The side of coleslaw I got was in a container that most places give you ketchup in .... The "pickle" was an oversized pickle chip .... NOPE there are TOO many places around that give you a bang for your buck and an actual PICKLE could you imagine ? Oh yea and no over the hill bartender flirting w the drunks there on their lunch break is always a plus too !

I had a good time. A few family members who stayed at the hotel next door complained that they didn't stay open as long as they said they would Saturday night after we got back from a wedding.

Great night to be outside on the deck enjoying chicken wings and beer special with the family. Wings tasted great and service was excellent.

It was lunch time on a Thursday., not busy inside or out but we felt rushed by the waitress. Hamburg not cooked the way we ordered. Beer was cold though.
