We specialize in physio and massage therapy for all muscular-skeletal conditions including orthopedic-sport injury (sports physio), back/neck pain and motor-vehicle accidents.

We offer direct billing and conveniently bill your insurer directly.

We offer flexible hours, no waiting list and friendly service in English and Polish.

We are located in the New Edinburgh area with plenty of free parking and easy access by OC Transpo buses.

Activa over the years has helped me many times with sports and other every day injuries. Barbara is a wonderful human being with superb knowledge of the human body and exceptional diagnostic skills. She has always succeeded in getting me back on track quickly and never fails to keep an upbeat atmosphere in her clinic. Active physiotherapy gets an A+.

When my wrist started bothering me a month ago, my doctor suggested a physiotherapist. Barbara was amazing and explained everything she was doing and what was happening to my wrist. She saw me quickly, and it was always fun to go see her (even if it wasn't for a fun reason). She gave me exercises to continue doing. I would highly recommend Activa.

Reviews were not right! Disappointed Expensive and ineffective... I tried very hard to avoid writing a negative review, I am sorry to have to write this review. I went to this place based on all fairly good reviews for Barbara's physiotherapy service. Barbara is a friendly person but unfortunately she doesn't offer a good and professional service.

I had a very positive experience overall. Barbara and her sister are very knowledgeable, experienced, and took great care of me. I would definitely recommend Active to anyone. Barbara has over 40 years of experience as a physiotherapist. It's so easy to see that. She was on the spot, knew how to treat my injury. I felt better after the 1st session!

Very professional, knowledgeable, and extremely pleasant and approachable physiotherapist - provides an excellent service, using the most up to date equipment. Always explains your particular injury and provides a set of exercises individually prepared for each patients - to be accessed on line and printed at any level of detail. Highly recommended! Great location - free parking - easy access!
