As a recent transplant from Atlanta I have been to my share of braiding shops both here and in the south.  Since moving to Virginia I have struggled to find a respectable braiding shop until now, Adams  braiding is the best place to go if you live in Northern Virginia.  I just got exactly what I asked for and couldn't be more happier. The woman that work there are nice, respectful, the shop is clean, and comfortable. I will definitely be back and hopefully I will see some of you there!!

Ada braiding is very professional and quick. They are able to do any style you are looking for. They are patient with kids also. I would recommend Ada's brading shop twice over.

Take It from another Stylist that Ada's Braiding is the Best in DMV. Ada is very professional, no waiting no price haggling and I always seem to get an appointment with no problems! I've never had my hair braided and have gotten this many compliments in my life! She's A Beast and I Love her! Thank you for keeping my hair on Fleek😘

I wish I could give this place zero stars!! Do not go here to waste your money. It's questionable if the people in there are licensed and it shows. Don't believe Ada if she tells you that she will braid your hair when you call because 9 times out of 10 she will not! She will pass you to someone else that is not licensed and braiding technique is horrible and then have a different excuse each time as to why she isn't even present. So clearly it's intentionally done. Don't even waste your time making an appointment. I know I won't anymore after giving them too many chances to get it right. My final straw was my last visit and my braids started coming out after only 2 weeks (Ada didn't do my hair even though she said she would and passed me off to a lady that was impatient and gave me more messy braids than neat)! A style that I paid almost 200 dollars for! A waste of my time and money! Not only that, the braids that stayed in took out my hair. Broke my hair out after only a month of having them in. My hair was very thick, healthy, and strong before this woman touched my hair!! I'm highly pissed and completely done with them. I normally don't write reviews but I believe it's my responsibility to warn others! Do not even take a chance with this shop and their fake positive reviews!! I do not believe it at all! I should've walked out by first appearance of how unsanitary the place was.

Been going to Ada for over 7 years! No one does braids so perfect. I get compliments all the time and I'm always handing out her cards.
