These people don't even deserve ONE star. I can't speak for everyone at the Adams Auto Group but our experience with Jay was an absolute nightmare. Beware! The short version of the review: these people are very shady and will fail to be upfront and transparent when structuring a financial agreement. AVOID! For those wanting to read more details of our particular experience: We test drove one of their cars and were interested in the purchase. Jay was going to put together a financing package for us but conveniently failed to mention a $2,000 warranty that he added to the purchase price before he ran our credit (BTW, we got three hard credit pulls which lowered our credit score, he claims it was only done once, but there were three institutions that pulled it). It was late in the day so we had to wait until the next day to hear back from the bank. Jay called the next day to say the credit had been approved but the monthly payment seemed high, so when I asked him for the financing details he was very vague, and only after digging and asking multiple times did he confess to a $2,000 warranty (!!!). This was the first i'd head of it, and I told him I didn't want one and he said: "Unfortunately I cannot structure a deal without a warranty as part of the financial agreement sir. It has all been structured as one." Oh, thanks Jay!! That would've been nice to know before you ran our credit and wasted all of our times! Like I said, be wary of these people, they are nothing but sharks and snakes (apologies to the sharks and snakes) and very filthy business people. We went to a reputable dealer the very next day and had the experience we were hoping for: upfront, reasonable, transparent, we bought our car that same day... nothing shady like Jay at Adams Auto... if you can, avoid these scammers!!

I just got my first car, and I am so glad I got it from here. They are fair, helpful, fun and friendly. They have quality cars, and any issues that take care of it. I'm so happy I found this place and WILL recommend them to all my friends and anyone looking for a good car at a good price.

Came to Adams in 2014, purchased my Honda CRV. Adam and his team took very good care of me and I left with my vehicle same day. Returned to Adams a week ago and purchased my Dodge Ram. Again ... Adam and his team took excellent care of me. When I call or come in, they treat me like a old friend and family. I will be returning next year when it is time to get my son on the road and purchase his first car. I will always return to Adams.

At the Paterson location, the salesmen was a liar and wasted my time and the manager was very rude and unprofessional. Before I knew I wasn't going to give them my business, I was checking out the BMW 335i I was interested in. The car looked very nice and pristine until I turned it on. Mechanically it sounded a bit rough. Just to be sure it wasn't me just being paranoid, I asked the salesmen to turn on a vehicle of the same model right next to it. He acted weird and told me he couldn't start it because the battery died. I don't think he noticed that I'm not an idiot and I just saw him drive the car in the lot. He said the batteries in these cars die quick in the cold. As soon as he knew I was mechanically inclined he acted sketchy. This is an honest review and most of these good reviews must be fake, look at the names. They also put a hard inquiry on my credit that I didn't even ask for. Truly terrible experience...please never go here.

Worse buying experience ever. Liars and con artists. I’ve never been outright lied to ever like they did. I equate buying this car to buying a fixer upper house. Check engine light, Bad transmission, bad knock sensor, bad brakes, terrible motor mounts to the point the engine is sitting lower than where it should be, bad front axles. They couldn’t even be bothered to make a 5 minute call to a dealership service department to get the radio code needed to operate the radio. Car was missing a body part which they did get for me and they actually had the nerve to buy it in a different color than what the car was.
