Story

The more than 27,000 square-foot facility, which opened in August 2004, includes a 300-seat sanctuary, a social hall, offices and meeting rooms. The building also features 18 classrooms for the congregation's fast-growing religious school, as well as an upstairs youth lounge that overlooks a basketball half-court on the first floor. Many of the downstairs rooms in the new building, including the rabbi's study and the sanctuary, emanate from the library, emphasizing the congregation's commitment to put Torah at the center of its spiritual life.

Mission

We at Adat Chaverim, a Reform Jewish Congregation and a “community of friends” are dedicated to:

Living by the enduring principles of Torah and Reform Judaism,
Developing relationships with God through education, study and communal worship,
Supporting individuals and families in their diversity to ensure the continuity of the Jewish People,
Caring for each other, our North Texas community and the State of Israel, and
Furthering tikkun olam, the healing of the world.
