The Adirondack/Glens Falls Transportation Council (A/GFTC) is a regional association of governments, public agencies, and transportation providers that is responsible for transportation planning in Warren, Washington, and northern Saratoga counties. A/GFTC acts as the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the area. To qualify for federal highway and federal transit funding assistance, every metropolitan area in the United States with a population of 50,000 people or more is required to establish and designate an MPO.
