A place where Jewish and Gentile believers can worship together in spirit and truth.
Why a Messianic Congregation?
Should Jewish people who believe in Yeshua retain the Biblical culture of their Hebrew roots? The answer is YES! The descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are G-d's inheritance and are to remain separate. ( See Deuteronomy 9:29; 1Kings 8:53)
There must be a place where Jewish believers can go to express their faith and learn more about their Messiah. A place where the teaching is from the Jewish perspective. Where new believers can experience the joy Yeshua brings into the lives of all who embrace Him. Can Gentiles participate in a Messianic fellowship? Yes, in fact it is Biblical! In Romans 11, The Olive tree is made up of both natural branches (Jews) and wild branches (Gentiles). Therefore, we believe the Kehila (assembly) consists of Jews and Gentiles worshiping together. "He has made us both one and has broken down the m'chitzah (middle wall) which divided us" (Ephesians 2:11-14) With the return of the Jews to the land of Israel, there is a revival of Messianic Judaism.
Friday - Erev Shabbat Service, 7:30 p.m. - Our Syagogue address is 259 Pine Drive, Piedmont, 29673.
We enjoy food after our Friday evening services, and we invite all who attend to stay for this extra fellowship, called in Hebrew "Oneg Shabbat" (delight in the Sabbath). You are welcome to bring a covered dish, but if you do, please do not bring any items that contain either pork or shellfish, or any meats that are not considered Biblically kosher. If bringing any meat dish, please insure that the meat is thoroughly cooked, since the Bible forbids the consumption of blood. (If you need clarification on this issue, feel free to contact us using the "Contact Us" option.)
