We got broken into. Twice. 
Our front door was broken before we moved in, they only replaced the knob. When they broke in, they kicked in the door, peeling off paint and stucco. Which they didn't repair.
And the repair guys are just the average Papa handyman!
My husband and I asked what we could do to break the lease early because as musicians, it just wasn't safe to have our equipment there and us working all the time. 
They were friendly at first and then after reviewing finances, we were kind of put out over the cost but eventually we came up with the money and took it in. 
We were told they could no longer do it because the owner was selling the property.
The lease doesn't have a buy out clause which is not legal!!
It only has information for them terminating you as a tenant not the other way around.
The buy out form we were told was a "courtesy" that they offer.
Melissa apparently couldn't get in contact with the owner Brenda but somehow Brenda told them to put us off as the 1st of the month was rapidly approaching.
We caught Melissa in several lies which she made no attempt to rectify. So we went above them to BBB and Realtors Association of Bakersfield which they are members of so they are held to higher powers should you need to it.
They ridiculed us over the phone because these glorified facebook secretaries don't know how to press the hold button so we heard and recorded the conversation of them making fun of my husband.
Luckily for us, when the property sold, the new management company decided to fix their mistake.
If you are searching for a place, this isn't it. The incompetent people in the office and lack of professionalism was beyond ridiculous and we've reported them.
All they care about is money. And the second you are no longer a cash cow, they don't need you.
If I could give no stars, I would.
We aren't the type to leave reviews, but this experience was so terrible that if we can save you the trouble, we will.

Over the past four years  as a renter I have had No issues every service request I submitted was promptly resolved. The staff was always friendly and performed excellent customer service. If I have the chance I definitely would rent from AIPM again,

The staff was nice enough, but like another young lady had posted they will accept multiple applications on a home and then wait to let people race on who will pay the security deposit first. For instance I got a text that I was approved for a house at 10am and by the time I got out of work to call them back at 4:00, the house was already held by another person who they say got there first to pay the security deposit. I wasn't even aware my application was being actively competed against for other people since most prop management companies policy is to not take another application if they're currently working on one to qualify someone for a home!

The staff have all been very helpful and they always reply to all my questions and concerns in a very timely manner. They have great customer service and I have absolutely no complains.

I've been using Advanced for several years now. They have taken care of everything for me, if it wasn't for the monthly rental checks being deposited in my account every month, I probably would have forgotten about the properties Im renting out. 5 Stars
