My father passed away in December 2016 and my mother just passed last week. Mr Marler and his staff were more than helpful, compassionate and provided exactly the services I asked for. They never pressured me to upgrade or do anything different than what our family planned for and requested. Very professional.

This funeral home should be ashamed of itself.My Aunt recently passed away and I recommended Advantage Funeral Home becuase I was led to believe that they specialized in low cost funerals becuase of their website and my previous experiance.Once my family and I looked at the price list,we were astonished.Since my aunt died without insurance,we decided to have her cremated.We asked the amount of money we needed to have for a funeral with the body before the cremation,the mortician said $ 4,000 dollars.So we ended up cremating her and bought one death certificate and that came up to $ 2,000 dollars.My family and I planned the service ourselves without the help of the overpriced funeral home. They are not a low cost funeral home,they are grave robbers.BE AWARE OF FALSE ADVERTISING.

First you all you should be shamed to still be trying to hide behind the Franklin Strickland name ! Your service will never meet the quality of their service!  I don't know about the pickney   buckner NAME.
You  need to state also state your hours of operation I recently went to see a loved one .. Family hr was from 1 to 7 . I arrived at 7 15 after work and was told you were closed for the day. There were others that came as well that were turned away as well, so if your closed, lock the door and go home , but oh half the family is still in the the parking lot.. Did they get put out  at 7. So what are your HOURS OF OPERATION

These people are the most disrespectful money hungry veteran hating Isis affiliating ppl that I've ever heard of.They took advantage of my sister that is 90 percent blind.Her husband who is a veteran and has been married to each other for 32 yrs and was 100percent disabled because of agent orange in Vietnam my sister who is also disabled was told if she didnt come up with the money that they wouldnt release his body but instead take him to Bailey ave.and put him out and that is a exact quote from the manager of Advantage funeral home.We're contacting the news media concerning these anti american ppl and urge anyone else reading this to also do the same.We are starting up a petition against this so called funeral home and also are going to the courthouse to see about picketing their buisness.
