As a longtime customer of this agency I can honestly  say they offer great rates as well as great service. It's a very busy office that always gets back to you promptly .

Never, ever, obtain Insurance though this agency. I have been attempting to contact them for 3 weeks; leaving multiple voicemail messages and calling over and over for hours at a time. I was trying to cancel my policy and trying to avoid a raise in escrow. Thankfully someone from the underwriting company(ASI) was nice enough to help me out and the policy is being cancelled as I write this. They say that they are locally owned but I think they need to reevaluate how they handle their business. I am beyond frustrated with this company. I am glad that i found a wonderful agent in Fountain Inn, Kris at the Brian Spears nationwide agency. I recommend him not this Advantage Insurance agency.

I used Advantage in Spartanburg, SC for four years. I decided to buy a new car in June. When I did, Todd told me that my payments were increasing but were going to be pro-rated. My normal $97 for June, $120 for July, and the the full amount being $180 in August. My July payment was drafted from my account at $300. After playing phone tag with his office for two days, and eventually being hung up on, I went straight to the insurance company where it was explained to me that the $300 dollar charge was my pro-rated $120 dollar bill, added to the renewed payment of $180. Even though this is ridiculous, it could have been planed for. Thanks, though, to Todd's ignorance, it came as a shock and a blow. If you think the rates of $180/mo for a married couple in their 30's is a little high, you're right. I shopped around and cut my monthly premium in half, with better coverage. Avoid this place place; they are too busy to be bothered with loyal customers.

I recently had to get a quote on auto insurance for my teenage son's new car.  Todd was very accomodating
in doing a thorough search for the best options for our family.  The service was swift and helpful.  I highly recommend Advantage Insurance.
