Advocate BroMenn Medical Center is a member of the Advocate Health Care system. Advocate Health Care is a multi-hospital system based in Downers Grove, Illinois. The system includes over 250 sites with ten hospital facilities and more than 3300 total beds.

The Advocate Health Care system employs approximately 30,000 employees. Advocate
BroMenn Medical Center is the first member of the system located outside the greater Chicago area.

BroMenn joined the Advocate system in January 2010. BroMenn is a 221-bed, not-for-profit facility located in central Illinois. BroMenn employs 2000 associates and serves 370 physicians. Services include a Level II Trauma Center and a Level II Nursery. The facility is fully accredited by The Joint Commission, an Accredited Chest Pain Center, a Certified Primary Stroke Center, and has earned the Blue Distinction Center for Cardiac Care.

I would give zero stars if i could..
They had very poor bedside manner and did not listen to what i had to say at all. Treated me like i didnt matter. They rushed me in and out and didnt seem to care about my health at all.

I had a severe allergic reaction that started early in the morning, i went to BroMenn because i was starting to get a rash and swelling on my face, neck, chest, etc. 
They took their sweet time getting me back to be seen,  granted they were busy, but i would say an aergic reaction is a cause for concern especially with sweelling of the throat.

Once i got to be seen, they pumped me full of steroids and antihistamines, which made me have extreme pain in my stomach almost immediately. I laid there crying, screaming, and sobbing in pain for over half an hour. No one asked what was wrong. No one came in to check on me. And I was obviously loud enough to be heard because the patient next door to me had a dad who came to see if i was okay. I tried to get help from the nurse's desk, but no one paid attention to me until i fell to the floor doubled over in pain.

I unfortunately had to visit them twice the same day because the swelling-allergic reaction came back the same evening. 

Honestly if something like that happens to me again, id rather risk my life and drive to a different ER.

I added a few photos to show how severe my allergic reaction was. And how serious it was. I was covered literally head to toe, including my scalp and bottoms of my feet. I was swollen and rashed everywhere.

The exam before they okay one for an operation is a joke. They did not take my concerns about previous operation complications into account . Very unprofessional . I definitely did not go through with the operation , or go back to them for anything .

Never coming back. Nurses are rude and laughed at my uncles lung cancer explaining loudly "this is why people shouldn't smoke!" 
Loud enough for another nurse to run in and tell her to lower her tone.  staff  is very poor. When scheduling an appointment i was forwarded 3 times met by giggles. Doctors are almost never available.

From the valet parking to the excellent and caring staff and volunteers, our whole experience for our daughter's surgery was reassuring and everyone was beyond thoughtful and kind. We would like to personally thank Dr. Joseph Santiago and Jordan (preop/postop nurse). These two professionals are definitely assets to this hospital and its fine reputation. This was our daughter's 5th operation for an ongoing issue and each previous operation had been unsuccessful. Well, not this time!!! We are moving to the area soon and will definitely choose doctors who practice here because it would definitely be our first choice for a hospital. 

Thank you to everyone who made this experience as pleasant as possible for us all.
